Ricky Martin becomes a father to twins

No longer living “la vida loca,” Latin pop sensation, Ricky Martin, is officially a new daddy after a surrogate gave birth to twin boys. “The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care,” Martin’s rep said in a statement. “Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.” Martin’s rep gave no confirmation on the names of the twins or if Martin, 36, will be raising them alone.
