Robert Pattinson, 27, has opened up to the Spanish edition of GQ magazine about the dark side of fame. “People don’t realize how lonely you are,” he admitted. “In any case, I feel fortunate because success didn’t reach me very young, at least, I had the opportunity to have a life before.” Robert is currently in Los Angeles working on Maps to the Stars, his second collaboration with Canadian director David Cronenberg. The film is set to give a “complex look at Hollywood and what it reveals about Western culture.” With the Twilight franchise’s massive success over the past few years, Robert is no stranger to this lifestyle. “It’s strange, you don’t have a normal life anymore. You spend much time trying to fight it, but in the end you find another way to live,” he said. “When you become famous, it’s easy for some people to hate you just because you are famous. That’s why, sometimes, you beat yourself up.” ~Alfonso Espina
