Ryan Gosling thinks America needs a female president

Ryan Gosling isn’t mincing words about his feelings for the ladies — “I think women are better than men.”
In his cover interview with ES Magazine, the megastar opened up about his deep admiration for the fairer sex.
“[Women] are stronger, more evolved,” The Nice Guys actor said. “You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”
And he thinks it’s about time for a female to run the country.
“I think [America] needs a woman’s touch. I’ve always liked women more,” he revealed. “I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class.”
The Canadian celeb says being surrounded by women helped him understand the objectification and sexism they go through on a daily basis.
“I grew up with women so I’ve always been aware of it,” he said. “When my mother and I walked to the grocery store, men would circle the block in cars. It was very scary, especially as a young boy. Very predatory; a hunt … It’s our time as men to be on the receiving end of the stick.”
Ryan and girlfriend of almost five years, Eva Mendes, have 18-month-old daughter, Esmeralda, and recently welcomed daughter number two, Amada, into their growing female-dominated family.
“My home life now is mostly women,” he said. “They are better than us. They make me better.”
