Sandra Bullock worried for stepdaughter

Sandra Bullock is concerned about her former stepdaughter, six-year-old Sunny James. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Sandra received a call from her ex-husband, Jesse James, hours before he went public with the news of his engagement to 23-year-old tattoo artist Kat Von D. “Sandy is very concerned that all the turmoil in little Sunny’s young life is tough,” a longtime close associate told Sun-Times writer Bill Zwecker. “First there is that messy conflict between Jesse and Sunny’s mom, [porn star] Janine [Lindemulder], which originally also involved Sandy. Then, along comes the breakup of Sandy’s marriage to Jesse — and all the issues related to that — which Sunny didn’t really understand,’’ given her young age. “Now Jesse brings a new, very different kind of woman into Sunny’s life, who will be a very different kind of stepmother for Sunny. It’s hard to believe she will be as maternal and nurturing as Sandy is,” said the source, referring to Von D’s hard-edge image and reputation.

I don’t know if she’d get custody, she’s not related to the kid in any way, and both James and the mother want custody from each other, so for a judge to give custody to a third party would be really a long shot. It would be nice if she could stay in Sunny’s life in some way, she needs a good role model. Though, Sandra’s probably relieved to be away from those people (not his kids, but the kind of people he hangs out with), I never understood what she saw in him. She’s class, and he’s trash.

Who are we to comment on the conflicts and issues going on in the lives of others…I mean really! Just because you read some smut magazine about their lives in the grocery store. Why do people think they have the right to comment on peoples conflicts and issues? Do you know them personally or did you read about them in Us Weekly (a very reliable resource….not!).
