Sandra Bullock wins SAG Award

It looks like Sandra Bullock is one step closer to winning a Best Actress Academy Award — she’s added another award to her mantle for her work in the critically-acclaimed film The Blind Side. After accepting her Screen Actors Guild award on Saturday, she modestly called it a “fluke,” adding, “I think it’s wrong, if you really want to know the truth: My money was on Meryl [Streep]. She just keeps topping herself.” Bullock also presented the Guild’s highest honor — a Lifetime Achievement Award — to her The Proposal co-star, Betty White, who joked, “I am not going to be fit to live with for the next five years.” Other winners included Jeff Bridges, Mo’Nique and Christoph Waltz, all of whom won Golden Globes last weekend. The award for Best Ensemble Cast (the Guild’s version of Best Picture) went to Inglourious Basterds. ~Alexandra Heilbron

I’m glad. I don’t think she gets the kind of attention she deserves. Despite all her romcoms, some bad some good, she’s a really good actress. Yay!

I agree…except about Jesse James not being hard on the eyes, LOL Gypsy! He seems like a very nice guy though. Both Sandra and Jesse are very down to earth, un-materialistic people.
