Shannen Doherty blames former manager for breast cancer

Actress Shannen Doherty blames her business manager for the severity of her breast cancer.
Shannen claims that an invoice from her medical insurer was ignored by her manager, leading to her coverage being dropped. Without coverage, she was prevented from being able to go to a doctor. She was unable re-enroll herself with the insurance company until earlier this year.
After getting her medical insurance reinstated, doctors told Shannen she had “invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node.”
She claims doctors said the cancer spread in 2014, during the time she was uninsured, due to the business manager’s mix up.
Reports state she had fired the business manager in 2014.
Shannen is suing her former manager for damages and medical bills, which will likely now include chemotherapy and a mastectomy. Both treatments could have been avoided had she gone to see a doctor during the time she was uninsured. ~Greg Chisholm

Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty has shaved her head during her ongoing battle with breast cancer, which was diagnosed in 2014 but ignored when her medical insurance was not renewed by her business manager.
Didn’t she realize the severity of waiting? Regardless of whether she wins this suit, if she loses a breast or her life, suing some guy doesn’t matter, she should have paid the expenses (I’m assuming she has money to pay a doctor) and gotten this looked after.
Good ol’ U.S. of A. healthcare. And we complain about Canadian healthcare…

Maybe Shannon Doherty should see, if she is eligible enough to participate in a clinical trial. I heard that the breast cancer vaccine trials are suppose to take place later on this year in Cleveland. I read in the newspapers that immunotherapy and ozone therapy have been an excellent cure for stage 4 cancer patients. Perhaps, she can order Vitamin B17 and apricot seeds through Amazon. Amazon is a good company. It does not try to scam people. One woman called Tamara St. John had metastatical breast cancer. She took the apricot seeds and all her cancer had disappeared and now she is cancer-free and alive and well.
Regardless of insurance or not she should not have let it slide. I’m assuming she HAS money for pay for a doctor. Breast cancer can spread quickly if it’s an aggressive form. The sooner you tend to it the better. You can’t blame someone else for it.
So tired of people blaming other people for their troubles. Take responsibility for your own wrong doings.
@ Silvia Logan–apricot seeds? Are you kidding? It’s very irresponsible to put this kind of ‘true’ story out there. No one knows who you are, but I’m sure you’re not a medical expert. And, by the way, Amazon is in the business of making money…
Really? She needed insurance for a medical? Gimme a break. These celebrities have so much money, money is the last excuse for her not looking after herself. I wonder how much her clothing, makeup, fancy vehicles, and big house cost her. Honestly if she wins the lawsuit against her business partner she is essentially making them responsible for her cancer. Maybe the cancer would have been found earlier if it wasn’t for the implants in the way. The time and money spent to look good is all for nothing if its not spent on looking after what’s on the inside too.
I’m guessing she DOESN’T have money. When was the last role she’s had? That would explain suing,too. Also, who goes to the doctor regularly? I don’t and I’m in Canada..
Re-read the post guys, no where did it say that she knew about the cancer before her coverage got cancelled! Also, don’t jump to conclusions, no one here knows her circumstances. It really rubs me the wrong way when people jump to conclutions just because she’s a celebrity! You go Shannen! You can beat this!! Much love.
There is NO cure for stage IV metastatic (not “metastatical”?) breast cancer. None. Nada. You cannot cure cancer with apricot pits/kernels (with their arsenic), nor with Laetrile (B17). It’s irresponsible to suggest a “cure” which is a hoax.
I never missed a physical, saw my doctor because I felt so unwell, and my cancer was missed over and over, so yearly exams are no guarantee.
I heard Sannen that you have stage 4 breast cancer try the gerson institude me education is in medicine The gerson institude can cure brain cancer and lung cancer and pancreatic cancer some of the worst cancers that are not curable with cemo and radiation She does have a book called gerson therapy book but you probably do not have enough time because your cancer will spread if you do not get treatment so call them right away This therapy can cure cancer
