The LEGO Movie sequel is ready for assembly

Everything is awesome with The LEGO Movie 2. The sequel to the animated adventure comedy has been given the green light.
Warner Bros. has announced Rob Schrab will direct the film, which has been simply titled The LEGO Movie Sequel, taking over for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who directed The LEGO Movie. However, Phil and Christopher will likely be staying on as writers and producers. The plot will take place four years after the first film. Rob has directed TV shows such as Community, The Sarah Silverman Project and The Mindy Project, but the film will mark his movie directorial debut.
The LEGO Movie Sequel will be the third LEGO-based film from Warner Bros. The ninja spin-off Ninjago is set to be released in 2016 with a LEGO Batman movie set to debut in 2017. The LEGO Movie Sequel is set for release May 25, 2018. ~Sandra D. Sukraj
