The Lion King’s first teaser trailer features adorable Simba

The first teaser trailer for the new live-action reboot of the popular Disney animated feature The Lion King has dropped.

Fans of the original will be happy to hear that the trailer is narrated by James Earl Jones, who voices King Mufasa both in the 1994 film and in this new version. We also hear the very recognizable song “Circle of Life” as a backdrop to the action, as the animals of the Pride Lands realize something very important has happened.

That’s when we catch a glimpse of the incredibly adorable little cub Simba, cradled in his mother’s arms. Watch above to see for yourself! ~Alexandra Heilbron

This is a remake, not a reboot. The writers here should learn the definitions of the words they use instead of going by their own incorrect assumptions.

Hey Pat. Here’s the definition of reboot from Merriam Webster: To refresh (something) by making a new start or creating a new version.

I think this new movie classifies as a reboot. Or a remake. Who cares? Why don’t you take a chill pill before you criticize others.

    Straight up.

Pat is probably someone who wanted to be a writer and never made it, so she comes on here and acts all nasty to make herself feel better. Try googling “The Lion King reboot” Pat. There are many more sites where you can criticize other writers, who’ve also described it that way. And FYI, tearing other people down doesn’t make you better.
