This film has issues that have nothing to do with the acting.
    a) an exorsisum needs the backing of the church to be offical yet a man not yet a priest does the deed on his own.
b)the young exorsists inner trauma needs to be illistrated clearer and be more graphic What was there just didnt work for me. I was left feeling something was missing
    c) the journalist felt like an add on her reason for being there needed to be clearer or she needs to be gone

All that being said the acting of the lesser characters is good its shot nicely and looks good. When Hopkins takes the screen any problems vanish in a puff of brimstone. Even before and after he is posessed you get the feeling he is a man far to familiar with evil. Hes amazing.
