Tiger Woods’ wife planning permanent split

Elin Nordegren and daughter SamThe hush money Tiger Woods is paying out to mistresses left and right may have all been in vain. According to People magazine, his wife, Swedish-born former model Elin Nordegren, is planning to leave her sex-obsessed husband despite his recent efforts to be (or appear to be?) a faithful husband. A source told the magazine, “She’s made up her mind. There’s nothing to think about: he’s never going to change.” Photos taken this week showed Nordegren, 29, out in public without a wedding ring on her finger. A high-profile Florida divorce attorney told People that Nordegren has met with lawyers to renegotiate the Woods’ prenuptial agreement. And last Thursday, Nordegren was seen giving instructions to workers who were moving large items out of the couple’s Florida home, according to the New York Post. A source told msnbc.com: “She and Tiger are living separately now, but she’ll be making this split very open and official right after Christmas.” Tiger and Elin have a daughter Sam, 2, and a son Charlie, 10 months. ~Alexandra Heilbron

    she’s leaving for good?

    Well, no f****** duh!

  2. Johnny • December 17, 2009 @ 2:08 PM

Its better this way, as we all know this marriage wasn’t going to work regardless of what efforts Tiger made. Put it behind you Tiger and start playing some golf, you have Jacks records in your sights. Good luck to you both.

hey! – what movie was Tiger in?

    oh wait..thats right….

anything to get a few extra hits, right Tribute?

  4. Johnny • December 17, 2009 @ 5:07 PM

I agree with your commen Michael, Tribute normally only reports on celebrities from either movies, tv shows, or the music industrie etc, but for some reason decide to talk about Tiger and all his troubles. I mean if its all about entertainment than why not have Chris Henry’s story on here?

  5. Moviefan • December 17, 2009 @ 5:30 PM

    Chris who?

  6. Nancy • December 17, 2009 @ 5:43 PM

Tiger is a celebrity and this is “Celebrity News and Gossip”. Just because you are a fan of Tiger doesn’t mean that any media source is going to leave him alone just for your sake and find another. Oh, and I’ll second Moviefan in saying “Chris who?”

I’m glad that Elin is taking this route. I feel bad for the kids though but, this is HIS fault not hers. If he had only cheated on her with one woman, she may have been able to forgive him but, how many has it been now?…and still counting!

  7. Jo-Anne • December 17, 2009 @ 10:04 PM

like this wasn’t an obvious choice for her?

So, cheating with one person can be overlooked? How forgiving of you…

one, ten, twenty….all would matter to me…

  8. tributegirl • December 17, 2009 @ 10:17 PM

“If he had only cheated on her with one woman, she may have been able to forgive him”
    key word: MAY

  9. Nancy • December 17, 2009 @ 10:30 PM

Exactly Tributegirl! She’s just being her usual self…a “mentally unstable nut”, hahahaha.

  10. Kim • December 17, 2009 @ 11:20 PM

I agree with Nancy, Tiger is a celebrity. Everyone knows who he is. Most athletes aren’t considered celebrities (well, maybe O.J.) so it wouldn’t be appropriate to talk about them. But the heading here says News and Gossip. Every other site is talking about him (People, Us Weekly, Perez, TMZ, even msnbc) so why shouldn’t Tribute? And I’m glad Elin is divorcing him. He’s a scumbag, plain and simple. He deserves to be alone, he can stick to whores who he has to pay to sleep with him from now on.

Kim, Tiger pays more having a wife..and even more for an ex-wife.

  12. demigod • December 18, 2009 @ 2:58 AM

My take is she married him for the wrong reasons..I don’t think she ever loved him. She probably wasn’t ‘doing it’ for him either. He was obviously sexually unsatisfied. Of course, this doesn’t excuse his cheating (needs mentioning for those ‘jumpy’ ones hehe)and will pay dearly for it.

  13. demigod • December 18, 2009 @ 3:08 AM

She’s playing hardball..renegotiating the pre-nup? In the end, she’ll be well off and getting more than her fair share, have her freedom, independence, and financial security. She’ll be happier than ever. She’s probably breathing a huge sigh of relief.

  14. demigod • December 18, 2009 @ 3:12 AM

Btw, all it would have taken was ONE.

  15. Jo-Anne • December 18, 2009 @ 8:24 AM

agree d.g., key word being ONE….

  16. Kelly • December 18, 2009 @ 10:29 AM

I just hope she gets more than have the sum of his mistresses

  17. Mimi Toronto • December 18, 2009 @ 11:52 AM

All these so-called mistresses… it’s really people wanting their 15 minutes in the spotlight, whether they were really with him or thought they were, that’s America for you. Land of opportunity.
And so far everybody is making money by making up crap, nobody really knows, but it won’t stop them from trying to cash in, including this website. What a sad commentary on the kind of people we have become. :'(

  18. Johnny • December 18, 2009 @ 2:18 PM

Chris Henry, NFL football player who died yesterday. Who cares right? Its not about Tiger cheating on his wife so its not headline news…Tribute magazine/website is about movies and entertainment, not about Sports so leave the Tiger gossip to TMZ or Us Weekly.

  19. Nancy • December 18, 2009 @ 4:57 PM

It’s all in the name, Johnny. The majority of people don’t know who Chris Henry is whereas, everyone knows the name Tiger Woods. I mean, take a look at Courtney Love…junkie(‘supposedly’ former), lost custody of her kid, shouldn’t get the satisfaction of one article about her let alone two.

As for THIS article though, my words shouldn’t need repeating but, for all the NUTS out there, “If he had only cheated on her with one woman, she ‘MAY’ have been able to forgive him.” Key words, “she” and “may”. I never said she WOULD, I WOULD, or anyone else WOULD or SHOULD, I said “may have been able to forgive him”.

“All it would have taken is ONE”…NO DUH!! What a “ditz”!

  20. shoothegun • December 18, 2009 @ 10:06 PM

Nancy what is your whole motivation other than to argue with Joanne on every d#$ site?? It is getting real sickening for the ones who generally want to make a comment on the “story lines” not each others snarky remarks. Woman!!!!

  21. tributegirl • December 19, 2009 @ 11:51 AM

Hmmm, when I scroll up, the comment dated December 17, 2009 10:04 PM was the beginning of this newest installment, and the name attached wasn’t Nancy.
And I don’t see anyone stopping you from making a comment on the story line, so fire away!

  22. Nancy • December 19, 2009 @ 7:24 PM

Exactly Tributegirl. I made comments on here totally about the article and Jo-WAnne came arguing with me…anyone with “half a brain” (hahaha) can see that! I made one comment after that, to you, Tributegirl, about her being a “nut”…which is the name she called me on another article. Clearly shoothegun is another name that one of her ‘crew’ are using, ROFLMFAO! So predictable. Also Tributegirl, I like your pun….”so fire away!”, hahahaha. Nice one!
