Toronto Comicon kicks off today

Toronto Comicon gets started today with a Cosplay Community Panel at 6 p.m. in Room 802. The Walking Dead star Chad Coleman, who plays Tyreese Williams on the popular TV series, is the focus of a Celebrity Q&A session in Room 801, followed by an 8 p.m. Celebrity Q&A with Stargate SG-1 star Christopher Judge. Also at 8 p.m. is Doctor Who Society Presents: Who’s Cosplay! in Room 802 and in Room 803 there’s a spotlight on the creator of the comic book series The Crow – James O’Barr.

Tomorrow the event starts off at noon with a variety of events, including a Q&A panel with the cast of Sailor Moon. Celebrities in attendance include Aaron Ashmore, Amber Benson, the cast of the incredibly popular TV series Orphan Black, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s J. August Richards, who plays Mike Peterson on the show, Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty and Doctor Who/Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillian. Karen will also be the focus of a panel on Sunday at 1 p.m.
