Transformers: Dark of the Moon retained the top spot at the weekend box office (all figures US), earning an additional $47 million for a two-week total of $271 million, making it the top earning movie of 2011 so far. Its worldwide box office haul is an impressive $645 million. Tribute users rank it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Another new movie, the comedy Horrible Bosses, came in second with $28.1 million and a Tribute user rating of 4.2 stars. The family movie Zookeeper debuted in third, earning $21 million and 4 stars from Tribute users. The animated Pixar film Cars 2 dropped to fourth, taking in $15.2 million for a three-week total of $149 million and earning 3.7 stars. Cameron Diaz as Bad Teacher rounded out the top five in its third week, earning $9 million and 3.5 stars.

Yeah it pretty much rocked. I’m impressed there was enough people out there with $ left to go see Horrible Bosses to tally up over 28million $. Wow. Maybe that was the people who couldn’t fit into the other theatres showing Transformers.
