Trio of actresses join Percy Jackson

The sequel to the young-adult fantasy flick Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief has found its fate — or fates as the case may be. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Missi Pyle (The Artist), Mary Birdsong (The Descendants) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) have been cast as the Fates in Fox 2000’s upcoming Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Sea of Monsters. The characters are described as a “sisterly trio of mythological goddesses who determine the destiny of all.” Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson are set to reprise their roles, with Thor Freudenthal directing the sequel. ~Rodrigo Cokting
