Twilight actor arrested on outstanding warrant

Kiowa Gordon, 21, who plays Embry Call — a member of Jacob’s wolf pack — in the Twilight movies, was arrested Tuesday in Tempe, Arizona after the car in which he was a passenger was stopped for a “routine registration check” at approximately 6:00 a.m. Law enforcement officers discovered a warrant for Gordon’s arrest, stemming from a 2010 incident in Mesa, Arizona, during which he was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He’s scheduled to face the charges at Mesa City Court on August 18. In the meantime, he remains in custody at Maricopa County Jail. Gordon is a native of Arizona and was recommended for a role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon by author Stephenie Meyer, who also lives in Arizona. He’s also appeared in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and makes an appearance in the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
