Who were best-selling artists of 2010?

Billboard released their 2010 charts for the best-selling artists, singles and albums, and Lady Gaga comes in as the top-selling artist of 2010, though her highest ranking on the Top Singles chart is eighth place with Bad Romance. Taylor Swift came in second and in third place was Eminem. His song Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna ranked No. 7 on the Top Singles chart. Country group Lady Antebellum, whose song Need You Now earned second on the Top Singles Chart was fourth and Ke$ha, whose song Tik Tok leads the Top Singles chart, was fifth. Usher‘s song OMG ranked fifth on the Top Singles Chart and as an artist, he came in at sixth. The Black-Eyed Peas were seventh. Usher’s pal Justin Bieber came in at eighth place, despite not having any songs on the Top Singles chart, though two of his albums, My World 2.0 and My World (EP) ranked fifth and eighth respectively on the Top 200 Albums. Rihanna and Drake, in that order, were ninth and tenth. Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream was the top-selling album of the year, and her new album, The Gift, spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 20, so her career shows no signs of slowing down.

I’m surprised Baby wasn’t on the top-selling singles, maybe because Justin’s fans always bought his whole album, and not just one single.

Seriously? Rihanna’s on this list? Who listens to her?

There’s some talented artists named in this article but most of the music is crap.
