Why Simon Cowell may never have kids

Simon Cowell of American Idol and The X Factor fame spoke to The Sun recently about being unsure regarding the prospect of fatherhood. The confrontational judge claimed he wouldn’t be able to “deal” with caring for an infant: “I worry about [kids],” he said. “If they could be born at the age of five, I’d quite like that. I’m not sure if I could deal with the ‘ga ga goo’ thing.” Cowell also expressed concerns over the idea of marriage, specifically in regards to his own suitability as a husband. “I’m difficult to live with. I’m selfish, quite weird – and I need time on my own.” This news comes on the heels of his separation from ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy in February of this year. The engagement, he admits, was a “big mistake.” ~Devin Garabedian
