Woody Allen’s adopted daughter confirms he abused her

Mia Farrow‘s adopted daughter Dylan, 27, has opened up to Vanity Fair, confirming she was molested by her adopted father Woody Allen, as her mother claimed over 20 years earlier. “I’m scared of him, his image,” Dylan said of her adopted father. “I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify.” She recalls an incident that had a big impact on her life. “There’s a lot I don’t remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn’t wearing.” Despite many witnesses who confirm Allen’s behavior towards the young girl was strange, the director’s lawyer, Elkan Abramowitz, maintains his client still denies allegations of sexual abuse.
Mia (pictured above) also spoke to Vanity Fair, revealing that her son, Ronan Farrow, 25 (pictured above, inset), who was believed to be Allen’s only biological son, may actually be the son of Frank Sinatra. The Rosemary’s Baby star was married to Sinatra from 1966 to 1968, but maintained close ties to him after their divorce. Sinatra, who died in 1998, was 78 when Ronan, then called Satchel, was born in 1987. Ronan had a public falling out with Allen following the director’s split with Mia and subsequent marriage to Mia’s adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.

Scarlett Johansson is standing by Woody Allen in spite of sexual abuse allegations from his daughter Dylan, who says the abuse happened when she was seven.
I’ve read a lot about this and there’s no doubt he was unhealthily fixated on that little girl. Now that she feels strong enough to testify, she should do it. He’s a child molester and even though he married Dylan’s adopted sister whom he was sleeping with since she was a teen, he should never be allowed to be alone with female children.
Oh man, does he look like Sinatra, blue eyes and everything. Lucky for him that he’s not Woody’s kid after all.
Actually, I read about Satchel (Ronan) as well. Woody Allen was disappointed he wasn’t a girl and had no patience with him, he used to hit him and treated him horribly. I don’t know how Mia Farrow could have stayed with a man who abused children, when she loved children so much.

Well, Janet, a lot of women in abusive relationships stay for various reasons. Fear is a big one. You can be sure that if he was abusive to the children he was abusive to Farrow in some way as well. It’s sad that the children and Farrow had to go through all of this. Dylan should testify against him. Not sure what it’s like in the U.S. but in Canada there is no statute of limitations on child sexual abuse. Just because Allen is a famous person it doesn’t mean he can’t be tried and convicted of being a sexual predator!
I think his father is Michael J. Fox. Look again.
But Jesus H Christ, if Woody did in fact abuse his children, this could change everything. THen again, bitter exes often exaggerate or make things up, even schooling their children in playing them against the other parent. I think we should not rush to judgment here.
It is for these allegations that I do not watch Woody Allen movies…where there is smoke there is fire. Having said that, there must be a formal complaint, evidence and a court process. I am disappointed that the Hollywood community is such an ardent supporter of a man who has several allegations of child abuse. The guy is just creepy.

A DNA test will show if Frank Sinatra is the father. He looks so much like his mom with with the same blue eyes. Until a test is done, there is no proof.

At the time of the event, Mia interviewed their daughter on camera and when she asked Dylan to point to her “private part” Dylan pointed to her SHOULDER!

I detest & loathe Woody Allen. I remember this scandal years ago when he married their adopted daughter. Sickening – & why did the law even permit it?
Mia had her own problems with anorexia yrs ago and if the creep was abusing her, just picking up and leaving wasn’t so easy – but bless her, she did blab to the media about it. Whether many believed her or not is debatable, they possibly attributed it to anger over him marrying her daughter. What a messed up life for everyone. Sad.

Soon Yi was not “their adopted daughter”. She was adopted by Previn and Farrow so her last name was Previn. Also Allen did not live in the same house with Farrow and her children.
And no one is discussing the fact that Farrow was also cheating with Sinatra who was also cheating on HIS wife IF in fact Ronan is Sinatra’s son.
So one-sided these stories and comments.
Jonathan, no one (except you, it seems) cares what the various parties were doing with each other. Whether or not Mia Farrow was having an affair with Sinatra does not justify Woody Allen’s unhealthy behaviour and relationships with his children, adopted or otherwise.
While in a long lasting relationship with Mia, Woody Allen kept a separate residence but he was in Mia’s house all the time and acted for many years as a father figure to her adopted kids. I read her autobiography and Mia actually found naked photos of Soon Yi taken by Woody when she was a young teen. Then he married Soon Yi to shut everyone up. I also cannot believe how Hollywood reveres him as a genius and how stars rush to work with him. He is a paedophile. For that reason, I too boycott his movies.
Nummynum, mouse over the photo and it will tell you that it’s Mia Farrow. As for Mia cheating on Woody, well, they weren’t married and they weren’t even living in the same house. If he wanted exclusivity, Woody would’ve married her.
And I don’t know why any institution let them adopt kids without being married.

Any man who would marry his daughter, adopted or not, has a problem (my opinion). Mia’s problems of anorexia and depression probably made it impossible for her to leave. Abusers tend to play with your mind and have you in fear..of this I know. It is all well and good to say why didn’t she leave but if you have not lived that abused life, you cannot understand. The fact that it took Dylan so long to come forward and to say anything is quite common in children who have been abused. I hope that she has councelling to help her now. The whole situation is sad as far as I am concerned and a good example of how fame covers up wrong doings. If he was a joe blow, this would have never been accepted behavior.

I agree it is sick that Creepy Allen is revered and idiot loser actors overlook the pedophile stuff and jump through hoops to work with him. His movies are stupid and weird… A lot like him. Long ago, i watched part of a movie of his …thought it was creepy and dumb, heard about the Soonyi affair much later and would never watch a movie of his if you paid me.
Really. After all these years? Just how much “Mia brainwashing” took place for this to “finally” come out. This is the adopted child of a mother who couldn’t keep her children’s biology straight. If there was a “screwiness” with this couple’s relationship, I believe it was on her part (Mia’s). She’s a publicity whore who misses the spotlight and now we have her well into once again with tales of molestation and the questionable biology of her son. What any man would ever see in this hag is beyond me. Lousy actress, lousy spouse and apparently, an extremely lousy mother who really has no clue who fathered her children. She’s a definite case for either Maury or Jerry.
I don’t think there is a statute of limitations of child abuse in the USA either, as there have been many cases of alot older adults finally taking their abusers to court… and winning. If Dylan feels this is the truth now then she should talk to a DA and file charges.
Mia stayed with Allen for so long as she had what 7 to 10 kids, some special needs, to care for plus with the verbal and emotional abuse she endured from Allen she definitely wasn’t strong enough to leave him for years.
As for the alleged parenthood of Ronan/Satchel (glad he changed his name) only way to know is with DNA. Sinatra was known for keeping in contact with a couple of his ex-wives including Ava Gardener who admitted to the occasional fling with him and that he always wanted her back. He would have dropped the last wife in a second if Ava ever said “yes, I’ll take you back”. So not so far fetched that he helped Mia gain some of her self worth to leave Allen and have another fling with her.
I will never accept that money can buy so much power as to hide such a fact… I have worked with abused children and the abusing fathers and mothers… I just can not accept acts of abuse… Not even from people of renown… Just soooo sad… A life ruined by one who had to have everything ? Sinatra was such a lover…
I pray the truth is revealed to allow these poor children the chance to grieve the childhood they should have had but was robbed of them being adopted into such dysfunction and sickness….courage to young Dylan and parentage truth be known for sure for Ronan.
All people should boycott his movies. He is a pedophile and should have been prosecuted for his abuse to Soon Yi.

Why is everyone so cool with Woody Allen, even after all this? The child herself testified, confessed to her mom, she was 7. Who could do that? Why would she lie when she’s so young? She loved her dad.
When he was about 50 he married a 17 year old, then divorced then started screwing his teen adopted daughter, Soon Yi. F**king gross, and everyone’s endorsing him. Although he contributed a lot to the comedies over the last century, ashame it’s him, that surely puts a stain all over it. People keep endorsing him and feel so damn honoured to be in his movies.
