Interns to be protected from Letterman says university

Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut was dismayed by the news that David Letterman had affairs with university interns who were placed with his late night show, and they say that from now on, staff in charge of appointing interns will be advised to be extra careful with their placements. Letterman, 62, is currently in the middle of a blackmail scandal over alleged affairs with three former female interns. “Due to recent circumstances we will have a discussion with those in charge of placing our interns at the David Letterman show in the future,” the school told TMZ. “We will diligently oversee this internship program to ensure that our interns are out of harm’s way.”
