Iron Man new pics revealed in Entertainment Weekly

The cover of Entertainment Weekly gives fans a first look Iron Man 2, with photos of the new characters. Fast-talking weapons manufacturer Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) is a full-blown antagonist for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in this sequel. Hammer believes himself to be the next Tony Stark, and he joins forces with Vanko (Mickey Rourke), a Russian who makes his own power suit, with laser whips, while he’s in prison. Scarlett Johansson also joins the cast as Black Widow, who joins Stark Industries as Tony Stark’s new assistant, ruffling the feathers of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). More details and photos from the sequel will be revealed at Comic-Con on Saturday, July 25 at 4pm in Hall H. Iron Man 2 opens in theaters May 7, 2010.
