Isaac Hayes dead at 65

Isaac HayesSoul musician Isaac Hayes has died of apparent natural causes after being found unresponsive in his home in Memphis. The musician is best known for the theme song from the hit TV show, as well as the film starring Samuel L. Jackson, Shaft, as well as being a South Park favorite. From 1997 to 2006, Hayes was Chef on the cartoon; however, he created quite a stir when he abruptly left apparently over the show’s treatment of his religion, Scientology. Most recently, Hayes was in Hustle & Flow opposite Terrence Howard. He is survived by his wife, a reported 12 children, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    that sucks both Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes died this weekend, It is a sad, sad day for all that knew them. I will always remember them as the MacMan and the Singing Chef with all the answers,and the man who sang the theme song for Shaft. R.I.P.
