Jack Black revealed during a recent interview in Los Angeles that he and his wife Tanya once received a special surprise gift from Angelina Jolie. He recalled that three years ago, when the two were promoting the original Kung Fu Panda at Cannes, Angelina was approximately eight months pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne. She was wearing a beautifully designed flowing white garment for a photocall and Tanya, who was also pregnant, commented, “That is the most amazing maternity dress I’ve ever seen.” Jack says a week later, they received a package in the mail from Angelina — the dress that Tanya had admired. Black says, “It was one of the sweetest gifts of all time.” Jack and Angelina are back in Cannes today, where they’ll be holding a press conference this afternoon for Kung Fu Panda 2, along with co-star Dustin Hoffman.
