Jackie Chan and Jet Li rule weekend box office

The Forbidden Kingdom starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li took over the top spot at the weekend box office, raking in $20.9 million (all figures US). Another new movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, debuted in second place, with $17.3 million. Last week’s top movie, Prom Night, dropped to third place, pulling in an additional $9.1 million. 88 Minutes debuted in fourth place with $6.8 million while Nim’s Island rounded out the top five with $5.7 million.
