James Bond Skyfall sequel already confirmed

Consider his license to kill renewed. Skyfall may not be released for another six months but that hasn’t stopped Sony from planning its next high-octane sequel. At CinemaCon2012, a studio representative announced that the 24th installment in the James Bond franchise would be completed for a 2014 release. He also revealed that the trailer for this year’s long-awaited Bond film will debut next month. It wasn’t long ago that Britain’s favorite spy was believed to have ordered his last martini. After MGM went bankrupt in 2010, the future of the Bond franchise was put into uncertainty as production on the then-untitled Skyfall was halted. The series’ current star, Daniel Craig is expected to return for the sequel making it his fourth adventure since breaking out in 2006’s Casino Royale. Skyfall opens in theaters November 9. ~Kyle Sharp

I’m glad to hear that Daniel Craig has been signed on to reprise his role as James Bond. he’s is probably the best Bond we’ve had since Sean Connery brought him to life in 1964. If people like Jason would bother to pick up one of Ian Flemming’s novels about the super agent he’d probably find out that the way Daniel Craig portrays Bond is exactly the way Mr. Flemming had envisioned him. Waiting for Skyfall to hit the ground. CHEERS!

craig along with brosnan and connery, were the top 3 actors as bond, for sure. the campy roger moores werent great, dalton was allright, but craigs take is a lot leaner and meaner, like connery. this is great news.

Really? A guy voices his own personal opinion and all u do is slam me personally, who’s 12 now. I have 0 problems with Daniel Craig..I jus don’t enjoy him as James bond…I didn’t know by saying that it would spark all u cave dwellers to come out into the light…I’m very sorry for bashing ur beloved Daniel Craig….so on that note I’ll just keep my opinions to myself when the new twilight movie comes out…wouldnt want u guys to come crawl outta that rock it livin under to start bashin me again.

Um???? I quote “and now to hear this peice of crap is not only doing Skyfall he’s doing another 1”. Like I said constructive criticism would of been helpful. The problem is your the one in diapers being very immature about it. We like the series just as much as you do. I’m curious did you see the last two bond films? I did and they were amazing! It’s like looking at a young Sean Connery all over again just meaner better slicker! So really bud grow up. The next time you want to slam some actor like its their fault that they got signed up for something when all their really doing is working try to be a little more constructive in your argument. We diddnt come out to slam you personally we came out to slam the BS that came from you. Just turns out you can’t handle the heat.

I am a firm believer that each and every portrayal of Bond has brought something new to the role; Connery’s chivalry, Moore’s humour, Brosnan’s faced paced action and even Craig’s cold killing violence. It is fantastic that the British film industry revisits different sides of the same character and, rather than spewing hatred, we should encourage such innovation and uniqueness.

I don’t like the direction the Bond franchise is taking. It’s losing or rather has lost the 007 flare. I’d like to see an Astin Martin that can transform into a mini-jet, I’d like to see Bond holding a cigar, ‘shaking’ a martini and getting all the information he needs from a ‘sexy’ woman. Instead, it’s been made to be politically correct and boring. Maybe they liked Bourne and forgot this is Bond! James Bond!

As for Graig, that lad should act in other films and stay away from Bond, he just doesn’t do it for me. Maybe Jason Statham would’ve done a better job.
