Jamie Dornan is looking forward to a Fifty Shades sequel

jamie-dornan-170686After the record-breaking success of Fifty Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan is reportedly on board to reprise his role as Christian Grey in the future.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Jamie’s rep said, “Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film.”

It’s also been reported that his co-star Dakota Johnson, who acted as Anastasia Steele, will also reprise her role in the sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.

A second movie hasn’t been green-lit by the studio yet, but reports indicate director Sam Taylor-Johnson will not be returning to the franchise. According to reports, Sam had clashed creatively numerous times with author E.L. James during the first production.

It’s already been reported that he will not be returning due to his wife’s discomfort with his role in the film.

It was reported he was backing out and now he’s not. Really…. Looks like a publicity stunt. Most movie production companies producing films that will have sequences (ie: Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc).. the main actors usually sign at the very beginning to be available for all the sequenced movies to be made. (This is protect themselves that the actor doesn’t come back for the 2nd movie asking a lot of $$$). So for Jamie to back out of the other movies he would have to have a very very good reason (like dying) for the production company to free him out of his contract. And his wife being jealous is not a valid reason.

The rumors that Jamie won’t be returning as Christian are not true, that was just hype to poll public reaction, that confirmed that 83.7% of the public loved the idea of Jaimie and Dakota to return for both of the next 2 movies in the book series. Both Jamie and Dakota are returning for the sequels when they are announced, to the joy of millions worldwide. There is also much interest for which talented and brave actress will be cast and accept the controversial role of “Elena Lincoln” in the sequels (the Elena character is the closet pedophile whom was an acquaintance of Christian’s adoptive mother who secretly preyed on Christian as a 15 year old and introduced him to D&S S&M for 6 years).

I am very stoked to hear if there is a sequel or two that both Dakota and Jamie are will to be part of them. Sorry to hear Sam Taylor-Johnson may not be part because I thought she did an amazing job.

    It’s all a negotiating tactic.
