Jamie Foxx attacks Miley Cyrus on the radio

Jamie Foxx went on a Miley Cyrus tirade on Sirius satellite radio. He initially asked,”Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She needs to get a gum transplant!” He then said she should “make a sex tape and grow up! Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe.” Foxx later apologized, saying, “I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,” he began. “I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far…I didn’t mean it maliciously.” Many people are still incensed by his comments, saying he should be ashamed of himself for making fun of someone so young and shouldn’t use the “I’m a comedian” excuse. Her father, Billy Ray, is reportedly angry about Foxx’s remarks. “He thinks Jamie was out of line and didn’t find any humor in it,” an insider says, adding, “Billy Ray isn’t going to say anything publicly because he doesn’t want this to escalate. He wishes it would just go away.” ~Meryl H.
So, I take it Miley made more money this year than Jamie made in his lifetime, huh? She can’t change her gums any more than he can change his skin colour, so maybe he should keep his mouth shut. Actually, he could call his buddy Michael Jackson…
That was rude and not called for. Miley is a good girl much better then the oher actress. I am glad she did not turn into them its very good. I am sure with her father guidness she will end up better then the others

Oh God I pretty sure he was joking as he said it, if you have every heard half the stuff that Jamie Foxx says on a regular basis this is no different,..over the top?? yeah a little..funny?…hell yeah best tirant so far this year, he’s in the damn in living color hall of fame, would you expect anything less.

So Jamie Foxx , as a comedian went over the line . That’s his excuse ? So from that reasoning , I have to conclude it was also ok for Michael Richards , Krammer , to cross the line .

I got it too Nancy and you made an excelent point. I think the “shame on you” comment should be made to the grown man who said such horible and unprovoked things about a teenage girl.
in case jamie forgot he too is a father of a teenage daughter how would he feel when someone would have said the SAME thing about his daughter? words can be hurtful he need to think before opening his mouth

I agree with Nancy, Lily, Tributegirl, Jen and Moon. As the father of a teenage daughter, Foxx should know that teenage girls are already extremely critical of themselves and get incredibly upset when other people criticize their appearance (some have become anorexic when someone hints that they could lose a pound or two, it’s a very difficult time in life). And he did it not in front of a handful of people, but on the radio to millions of people. It’s inexcusable. He’s an adult and he should not be attacking a 16-year-old girl for any reason. And what he said, about the gums, what is he talking about? Is he referring to the clear braces she wears? I remember there used to be a guy on here who always called Miley “Little Miss Liptooth,” with obvious disdain. If her mouth looks funny, or it seems that she’s overenunciating, it’s because of the braces. Not that it matters why — just because a kid is in the public eye, it shouldn’t mean she has a target on her and is available for insults from every corner. I don’t know about you guys, but if it was me, I wouldn’t be able to handle all that criticism, never mind when I was 16. If he’s a comedian, that wasn’t very funny. Maybe he should try attacking his own family on the radio, see how they like it, before he goes for the throats of other people’s children. I’ve never seen the appeal in that kind of humour.

i really like and agree with your article, kim. very well said. i also agree with everyone that defended miley. those were some pretty terrible things to say about a 16 year old, or anyone for that matter. also, i dont know why shes not suing. remember the picture of miley slanting her eyes? and how that woman was suing her? (not sure what ever came of that). if its not ok for miley to slant her eyes, for a pic, which are part of HER body then how come he thinks its ok to say offending things about other people and then just say “oh i was kidding”? man, id totally sue. i can understand why billy ray was soo angry about this.

Jamie Foxx’s lighthearted comedic remarks and his quick apology goes to show the vast evil gauntlet that Billy Ray yields as Grand Master of the Apocalypse. And no one, but no one will be rude to his princess who will soon inherit all that IS and ever WAS!

ive never watched prison break, how long was it on for? im glad they didnt kill that blonde guy off yesterday, i really like him lol. i hate when shows come on and then bam they are over just like that. its hard to find good tv these days, and when you do, its like its gone too fast.

ohh man, ME TOO !! i was like oh no oh no dont do it, i love him and his accent…and his HAIR. lol so what do you think of it so far? i like it, but its definitely not as hardcore as i was expecting. since i think they said it was from the writers of scream and friday the 13 or something? but im still enjoying it.
I like it too. Have absolutely no clue who the killer is. I love “whodunnit” shows/movies. When they all came from the bonfire to get him I thought he was dead. Just hanging there not moving. LOL.
me too! for the “whodunnit” shows, and for him being dead ha ha. im thinking maybe the killer is the guy (hunter??) that wants to get with the bride. i can usually figure out just about anything, even the trickiest movie plot twists, but its still pretty early in the show for me to have much idea lol. i cant wait for more episodes!!
Idk about him….her dad hired him to come back and mess up her wedding. I know the grooms brother killed the deer and put it on the hood of the other guys truck but just when I start thinking the killer is one person, someone gets killed while the person I suspect is doing something else, so then I have to start back at square one, LOL. Whole point of the show though….keep the audience in suspense. Till next Thursday… 😀

Hahahaha! Well, it’s wrong in my eyes to find him hot but it’s your choice, LOL. Neither one are “hot” to me. I’m not into House either, watch it once in a blue moon when there’s nothing else on…which is very rarely, with so many channels to choose from these days! I hate it when they are only part ways through a series and then they play repeats of it and make us wait for new shows, like Prison Break, Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural to name a few. Hope they get Big Brother 11 on soon! 😛
yeah i have some pretty strange taste in men lol. i hate it when they play reruns too! ive only saw supernatural once or twice, i liked it. i also wanted to watch what was it, close to home or something? its just, i hate watching a series without seeing it from the first episode. i really liked tru calling but they took that off the air after i think it was a season and a half. i really like eliza dushka.
My daughter and I used to watch Tru Calling all the time! Now she’s in a show called Dollhouse on Friday nights. They’ve had that show on for about a month now. New episodes of Supernatural start on April 24. I know what you mean about watching a series from the beginning. It’s hard to choose when they preview them, I mean, you can’t watch them all! So you pick and choose which ones “look” good only to find out 2 or 3 episodes into it that it’s not what you like but by then it’s too late to pick up a different show cause you’ve missed 2 or 3 episodes of it. I LMAO every Monday night though….watching a show called Big Bang Theory.

Dollhouse is weird. Eliza Dushku is in it though and they are kinda like spies who get their minds wiped clean after each mission. Then for the next mission they get new memories put into their brains. The Big Bang Theory is about a group of guys who are nerds, 2 of which are roommates and have a female neighbour. It’s hilarious…to me anyways! Oh, and I wanted to tell you that my taste in men is nothing to brag about either, LOL.
well, my problem is im not really into comedy. for some reason its very rare that i find movies funny. i do like some of them though, although its not like lol funny. that dollhouse one sounds kinda neat. maybe ill check it out if im ever home when its on. im just too specific with the types of tv shows i watch.

Guys, I tried watching the Big Bang Theory last night, hated it! Sorry, but I thought it was just one tiny little step above The Office!
Hahaha, that’s okay…as long as it is “above” The Office, LMFAO! Personally, I find the office is weird because it is people who wear suits and ties and they’re being “weird” whereas in The Big Bang Theory, they are nerds and expected to be weird.
i love the office, but so far have only saw the first season. didnt even get into it until my cousin brought the first season last summer and i watched it. so since its already into like season 5, i didnt get any further into it. i will have to rent the seasons or something. cant wait for new dexter (if hes coming back on that is)
Sorry tributegirl and Nancy but I also think the Office is pritty funny, I just havent seen it alot. Mandee, I only saw season 1 of Dexter but I LOVED it and I want to rent the rest of them too!
I’ve never even heard of Dexter, but The Office, man I have to change the channel as soon as it comes on, sorry, but I find it to not be just weird, I find it to be stupid. And that’s true about the people on Big Bang are nerds, but I still hated it. Ah well, as long as Idol is still on! Two going home tonight! I think it will be Lil & Matt, I think Adam & Alison will be the final two.

Tonight I’ll be watching Lost and hopefully a new episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter, I don’t watch Amer. Idol much after the fuuuunnny auditions, I basically just “hear” it as my desk is between the dining room and the tv. I wish they’d hurry up and get Big Brother 11 on, my daughter and I are anxious to watch.
yeah i really want adam to win this year. ive caught the last 4 episodes. dexter is about a guy who works in blood splatter in the police department, but is also a serial killer. he kills murderers, rapists or whatnot. people that deserve to die. its great.
oh man, it was soo heartbreaking when those 2 were voted off. too bad, i sure wish it had of been the justin timberlake wannabe. havent we saw enough of that with the REAL justin? i was rooting for anoop 🙁

My sons made me watch it and its the funniest thing I’ve ever seen (no offense to people who don’t like comedy thats rude). Also, totally agree with all the Adam voters cause I’ve loved him from the first time I saw him and he has NO competition for the win, tho I think a few of the others are pretty great too.
