Jane Fonda will not marry again

Jane Fonda is “not getting married again.”

The 78-year-old actress has been married three times – her ex-husbands are Roger Vadim, Tom Hayden and Ted Turner – with her last union ending in divorce in 2001.

She has been in a relationship with music producer Richard Perry for the last seven years, but although they are blissfully happy she has no intention of walking down the aisle again.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said: “He doesn’t object to me being who I am. It doesn’t threaten him. And it is often challenging because he has Parkinson’s so that is an interesting thing to understand and navigate, so I am still learning every day. Learning to be more generous. I’m not getting married again.”

With a curiosity for life and a few plastic surgery procedures, Jane has maintained a youthful look and demeanor.

However, although she looks great she has had to accept her body now limits what she can do because she suffers from osteoarthritis.

She said: “I used to love climbing mountains – but I can’t do that any more. I have had a hip replacement and a knee replacement and a number of surgeries on my back. I suffer with osteoarthritis which is genetic – my father had it, my brother has it – and so I am limited in what I can do.

“I stay active and conscious of what I am eating, I try to eat fresh food. But I have had plastic surgery: I have made no secret about that. The other side of it, which I think is equally important, is that I am still passionate about life and curious. I am always learning. Curiosity and passion keep you young.”
