January Jones involved in hit and run

Mad Men star January Jones was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles last night. The actress, 32, was driving a Range Rover around 9 p.m. when she allegedly lost control and collided with three parked vehicles. According to witnesses, she then left the scene on foot, saying, “I can’t deal with this commotion.” She later returned and reportedly told police she’d walked half a block to her home to call 911. According to TMZ, Jones told police she was at London West Hollywood Hotel watching a Lakers’ game before driving home. She said she’d left the scene because the paparazzi were harrassing her. When she spoke to the 911 dispatcher from her home, she was told that police had just arrived on scene, so she returned to her car. The police, who did not administer a field sobriety test because there was no evidence of alcohol, have impounded her car.
