Jason Statham stopped for theft

Crank star Jason Statham was reportedly stopped by police after stealing a golf cart. The actor left a post-Coachella Festival party in Palm Springs with reality TV star Kristin Cavallari at 4am on Saturday in the buggy and was pulled over by officers after being spotted on the mini vehicle. A source told the New York Daily News: “They were joking about how they wanted to take the cart off-roading. They were later spotted on a main road getting stopped by Palm Springs police. The officers ordered them to go back and return the cart and proceed immediately to their hotel rooms.” The pair — who have been romantically linked in the past but always insisted they were just friends — agreed to comply with the request and swiftly left the scene.
