Rapper Jay-Z isn’t like most high-profile rappers. Instead of taking a fancy car, he actually rode the New York subway last weekend to get to his concert at Barclays Center, for his last performance of the day. Many fans on the subway took advantage of the opportunity to talk to him and take pictures with him. During the show, his wife, Beyoncé, surprised the performer on stage to sing “Crazy in Love” and “Diva.” They shared kisses and hugs, and he even playfully spanked his wife as she arrived on stage. The rapper uploaded the performance onto his YouTube channel, which was launched on Saturday, for fans who were unable to attend the concert. IconicTV co-founder, Michael Hirschorn, describes the site as being “A way for Jay to showcase the breadth of his interests, from fashion, architecture, music, style, food, consumables, electronics, and so forth.” ~ Luxy Hariharan
