Jeff Goldblum granted restraining order against stalker

Earlier this week, Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum was granted a three-year restraining order against Linda Ransom, 49, who has allegedly been stalking him for over a decade. Ransom is a former mental patient and had trespassed on the property surrounding Goldblum’s home on numerous occasions. She also misrepresented herself to gain access to Goldblum’s events in New York and Los Angeles. The actor claims the stalking began in 2001 when Ransom attended one of his acting classes. According to TMZ, she lost her temper in court and continuously argued with the judge while being asked to calm down. She was then told by the judge, “Mr. Goldblum wants nothing to do with you, this harassment has got to stop,” and was slapped with a restraining order forcing her to stay 100 yards away from Goldblum for the next three years. Goldblum was not present at the trial. ~Stacy Raivich

Fan Expo Canada in Toronto began today for the 25th iteration this year. The four-day event is the largest Comics, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime, and Gaming event in Canada.
