Rumors are swirling that Jennie Garth will be joining the Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off. Garth, who played Kelly Taylor, the popular blonde, recently dropped out of CBS’s upcoming comedy pilot My Best Friend’s Girl after the table read on Monday. She has been replaced by Kristin Booth. Us Weekly reports that it was “a mutual decision between her and the [CBS] producers” as Garth is still recovering from the loss of her father who passed away shortly after she was cast. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Rob Thomas, the writer of the 90210 spin-off, is looking to cast Garth as a fashion design teacher. Details about which other characters will make the transition to the new show are still unknown.
who cares
Doctor Who cares!
Wow! She’s really getting quite “wrinkley” isn’t she?? How old is she, 70?
She looks even prettier than she did on 90210.
It’s called mature; and Hollywood hates mature women. All they care about are those useless, brainless, no-talent drunks we’re constantly being bombarded with.
And I agree. She looked great on “dancing with the stars”.
Jenny is reminds me of a Garth I used to know. Really Hairy and a deep voice.
oh lord they are going try and pull a degrassi! for those who don’t know what that is, it was a really good Canadian show back in the late 70’s early 80’s that they brought back as Degrassi, the next generation, with ppl from the original show cast as teachers and parents. and it SUCKS. if they want to do another 90210, leave the old cast behind and start fresh.
I guess you don’t have any wrinkles, Nancy. Even after giving birth, you must look exactly the way you did in high school. ROFLOL
Nah Lexy, I’m not wrinkled up yet! And giving birth has absolutely nothing to do with being wrinkled….trust me!!! I do still look like I did in high school, for the most part. Just a few gray hair…nothing Miss Clairol can’t handle though!! LOL
Miss Clairol, my best friend!
Mr. Clairol is my best friend ever we do everything together!!
How old are you Tracy? No, I’m not being sarcastic, I’m just wondering. I used to watch Degrassi and loved it, now the generation after me seems to love the new ones. I don’t care for it myself anymore, but the young people I know love it, and I do think it teaches them a lot of lessons.
I’m a lot older than maybe some of the younger generation on here. I will be 85 in May. I have some great grand children who love to watch shows like the new Degrassi. The whole thing sucks bringing back the old cast as students and teachers it really just SUCKS.. They got to get their act together and do some better shows.. My two cents worth!
