Jennifer Aniston gets restraining order

Jennifer Aniston has obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker. She filed papers against “delusional” Jason Peyton after he drove across the country to find her. Court documents claim police officers found Peyton sitting in his car outside Aniston’s house on July 15. “Mr. Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life,” Aniston said in a signed court declaration. “Due to Mr. Peyton’s delusional compulsion and increasingly harassing, stalking and threatening conduct, I have been subjected to a course of conduct which has and is seriously alarming, annoying and harassing me. Mr. Peyton’s ongoing, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety and that of those around me.” Police allegedly found handwritten letters to Aniston detailing his intention to start a family with her in his car. The 24-year-old was arrested and placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold.

“Peyton had, among other things, a sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape, a variety of DVDs of movies in which Aniston appears, and a notebook and various scraps of loose paper in/on which Mr. Peyton wrote a variety of messages about and to Aniston,” legal documents reveal. “Peyton is an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker — with a history of violence and criminal stalking — who drove cross-country in his delusional ‘mission’ to locate and marry Petitioner, with whom he believes he is in a relationship.” Peyton reportedly told officers Aniston was in love with him and had asked him to have kids with her. Under the terms of the restraining order he must keep 100 yards from Aniston’s home, vehicles and place of work. He must also stay away from her managers, agents, staff and other representatives.

wow. Sometimes it’s good idea to get restraining order even if you feel it might be excessive. Sharp objects and duct tape and such.. An ubduction or crime likely was prevented here.

What a nut bar, im glad they caught him and put him in a mental hospital before something happened to her. I can only imagine how scared for her life she must’ve been.

Restraining orders are only useful with people who do not have a violent agenda. There are far too many cases where the person just walked right through the restraining order and completes there threats. I don’t know what the answer is, however. The penal system in both Canada and the USA is a joke. The penalties do not match the crimes. Juveniles are not properly punished by any stretch of the imagination. I realize the jail systems are over loaded but that is really no excuse. It is no wonder the police are consistently frustrated. They go to the effort and danger to get the people off the street to see them released with a minimal punishment. What will it take to make things right? I don’t know. There has to be an answer.

This guy is definitely a whacko and the police should make sure he leaves town. I hope Jen gets herself a good bodyguard because restraining orders are just pieces of paper. They have the evidence of his intentions and what he planned to do why isn’t he run out of town or put in jail? This is ridiculous.
