Jennifer HudsonJennifer Hudson is starting off the new year with a brave return to the spotlight. For the first time since the murders of her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew in October, the songstress is set to perform on Feb. 6th at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, a charity event that precedes the Grammy Awards, reports the New York Times. The event will also include performances by Coldplay, Josh Groban, Adele and Tim McGraw among others. Hudson has been nominated for four Grammys and remains humble about the honor: “It’s been a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing,” she said in a statement.
