Jennifer Lawrence is Hollywood’s highest paid actor under 30

By Tribute on July 24, 2013 | 8 Comments

Jennifer Lawrence has taken the title of Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actor (male or female) under 30 from Kristen Stewart, according to Forbes magazine. Jennifer, 23, who won a Best Actress Oscar earlier this year for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, earned an estimated $26 million from June 2012 to June 2013. Jennifer was paid just under $1 million for The Hunger Games, but thanks to its success at the box office, she was given a raise for its sequel, Catching Fire. Kristen, 23, may have dropped down to second place, but her work in the Twilight films and most recently, Snow White & the Huntsman, kept her near the top. She earned $22 million from June 2012 to June 2013. While the digits may seem high, it’s actually a significant drop from her place at $34.5 million in last year’s list. Topping Forbes‘ overall list of highest paid celebrity under the age of 30 is 27-year-old pop star Lady Gaga, with an impressive $80 million to her name. ~Alfonso Espina

And here I am wondering if I can save for a long awaited vacation by cutting my grocery budget….yeah yeah I know, she deserves it blah blah…

I honestly love her personality and think she is talented but the media has got to back down because she’s being shoved into my face many times a day on a bunch of websites and I don’t want to dislike her by just getting sick of seeing her.

These actress and actors are getting paid way too much. Most of them can’t even act. *cough* Kristen Stewart. There are people living paycheque to paycheque and still trying to donate what I can to to charities when they have nothing..These celebrities are so rich if they donate half their earnings they would still have enough money to live comfortably the rest of their lives.

    Give teachers a higher salary.
She’s talented but these actors make wayyyy too much.

Ughhh…. enough with the “pay teachers more”.

You want to give teachers a higher salary? Then pay more taxes.

These actors are paid from movie earnings and projected earnings. Get over it. It’s business.

She’s a good actress. I don’t know if any actor is worth millions, but the movie studios seem to think so. If it didn’t go to the actors, it would go to the studios (studio heads, producers, etc.) and just make them richer. Better off in her pocket and hopefully she shares what she has with friends, family and charities.

Yes people, get over it. it is a business and they are taking home their share of it. You are free to compete and get in the game too.

I think she deserves this title. She’s talented, humble, extremely down-to-earth. It’s obvious she’s in acting not for the money or the fame, but because she genuinely loves it! You go Jen!
