Media outlets had predicted for weeks that Simpson was pregnant, after she began dressing in loose fitting clothing and appeared to have gained weight. She posted a photograph of herself dressed up as a mummy for Halloween yesterday afternoon, with the title: “It’s True! I am going to be a mummy!” Later, she added a link to an article about her pregnancy. Jessica and Eric Johnson, a former pro football player, began dating in May 2010 and became engaged in November 2010. This will be the second grandchild for her parents — her younger sister Ashlee Simpson has a three-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz with her husband Pete Wentz, although she filed for divorce from him earlier this year.
