Jessica Simpson lights ear candle for Christmas

We wish the headline for this article was a joke, but unfortunately, it’s not. Jessica Simpson posted this video of herself to Twitter that features her with a lit candle in her ear while singing Christmas carols. The candle was given to her by her hairdresser, Ken Paves (he can be heard in the background), to remove ear wax. There’s nothing like a video of Jessica Simpson with a candle in her ear in front of a Christmas tree to get you in the holiday spirit!

hope she didn’t do damage, the candle should be horizontal not vertical, quite likely wax from candle would drip into her ear…Yikes!

I’ve done this numerous times and it’s NEVER been hot to me.
I love those things. lol. They’re too expensive though.
Ear Candles definitely do not pull ear wax or anything else for that matter out of the ear. However, they do help with ear infections, colds, flus, congestion, sinusitis, etc.
The question is work for what and how? http://www.earcandling.info http://www.harmonycone.com Quackwatch (which is paid by the medical monopoly) is correct in their assertions but just because ear candles do not pull ear wax out of the ears does not mean that they do not work.
Good for Jessica for thinking outside of the box and trying something new and different. I am sure she feels more open and clear 🙂 Too bad she did not relax more. I hope she tries it again 🙂

Ear candling is great, especially after you are getting over a cold. Obviously the writer of this article knows nothing about ear candling and just thought Simpson was being silly.

Has anyone actually noticed that she is laying down on a white sheet? She is safe, and candling is very therapeutic for people with ear problems. Maybe she is trying to promote it as beneficial.

Candling is a hoax anyway. And her hairdresser sounds like a geek yammering in the background, something the video could have done without.
i wish she would go back to wearing short shorts and appear in another Dukes of Hazard movie…clearly Tony Roma had the right idea dumping her.
