J.Lo’s baby pics sell for $6 million

People magazine is reportedly paying $6 million for the exclusive U.S. rights to publish the first baby shots of Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony’s twins when they’re born. OK! magazine has also struck an exclusive non-U.S. deal for photos of the babies. The pics will run in OK!‘s 15 international editions, the magazine confirms. “It is fantastic for those markets, and especially important with the immense strength the exclusive will bring to the new launch of OK! Spain,” a spokesperson for the magazine told msnbc.com. The Spain edition hits the stands on March 26. Hopefully the babies have been born by then….

   sad testimonial about how we prioritize things. $6 million could feed a lot of other babies and children who may go hungry.

   and that’s just the money they’re willing to pay out. how much revenue will these magazines reap from the suckers out there buying the magazines?

   This is stupid…it’s true that there r more babies or sick children that in need of taking care instead of a pic from J-Lo children that cost 6 mil…whoever is paying for it is very unthinkable.

    Wow, I have a cute baby pic of myself, wonder what they’d pay for that? lol
    The thing is, we all know how rediculous this is, it’s a total waste of money, they will be red & wrinkly like all new babies, are their pics really worth $6mil? Nope, not really. But how many of us will NOT look at the pics on the covers of the mags when we are at the checkout stands of the supermarket? I won’t buy the magazines, I never do, but I know I won’t be able to resist looking at the mag covers.

    No, Poppa John, I didn’t say that, double did.
    Jennifer is extremely pregnant with TWO babies, of course she doesn’t look as good as she used to! She’s bloated, exhausted, and totally uncomfortable. How many women have you ever seen who are 9 months pregnant with twins who look just like they used to? Just wait, after these babies are born and the nannies take over, she’ll be back to her old self in no time! As for Mark, well, there isn’t much he can do to look good!

    Sorry Nancy, that wasn’t double, that was actually me! I didn’t know there were styling products in that name, I was just trying to picture him trying to push any product to make men look like him! Yech!
    But I actually did get the working from the neck up stuff! Sometimes it takes me awhile, but I eventually get it! hehehe!
