John Travolta considered retirement after son’s death

John Travolta John Travolta considered retiring after his son died. The Grease actor and wife Kelly Preston were left devastated when son Jett passed away in 2009 and he admits it was only the support from his fans, loved ones and faith in Scientology which prevented him from turning his back on his career in the aftermath of the tragedy. He said: "I lost my son a few years ago and I had been having quite a time of that. And after three years of getting a lot of support from the church and a lot of support from people - fans and family - I decided that it was OK to go back to work. Because I even thought of retiring at one point, because it just felt like too much." John - who is making his acting return in new movie Savages - admits he is still impressed by his "extraordinary" career achievements. He added in an interview with BBC Breakfast: "''Grease' and 'Saturday Night Fever' were the number one and two records in history until Michael Jackson's "Thriller" came along. So for five years we held the crown for one and two! It was pretty extraordinary. And still I think that 'You're The One That I Want' [from Grease] is the biggest duet in history."

He should’ve retired and gone into hiding. The world would’ve been a much happier place. And a much safer place for all those male masseurs out there…just sayin…

Is he wearing black rubber fake hair? He looks like a figurine.

Guess what John, everyone thought you were retired. Stop groping masseurs and stay home.

I like only very few of his movies (Pulp Fiction/SNF/Grease/maybe even Look Who’s Talking was original at the time and decent/Wild Hogs was hilarious), but I could care less if he retires. He can’t dance or sing anymore so lets move on.

So what if he can’t dance or sing anymore. He sure can act still. Some of the Best well known men&women actors/actresses are Still acting between 75-80+ and they are Better than Ever!! I Always look forward to seeing them on the screen!!

People want him to retire? Are you kidding me? Because of the massage thing? Yes if it is true, that is truly creepy that he hit on dudes etc… is that against the law?

Dennis Rodman was/is one of the greatest defenders in the NBA, but nobody wanted him to retire when he started dying his hair all colours of the rainbow and he even publicly married… himself. What he does in her personal life does not affect how he performs in his professional life.

The same goes for John Travolta.

He’s had numerous great movies! He’s a terrific actor! Period.

Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction, Broken Arrow, Phenomenon, Face/Off, Swordfish, Get Shorty and Be Cool.

    Get Real! 🙂

Don’t judge on BS from public scandals. He’s repeatly said he’s not gay and he isn’t. He’s involved with to many organization that want to see him and his career flop. Let’s not add to the stress by being ignorant and brainwashed. He’s a tremendous actor and person. If there is anything I’d like to say that is remotely negative is that I just wish he see’s where the Mason/Illuminati/Scientology Cult is leading him and I wish for him to notice that they play a big role in deciding in his life endeavors. Good Luck my friend And may GOD in “Heaven” Bless you 🙂

I will always like John Travolta’s acting skills
but I do question his devotion to the Cult of Scientology. I hope he doesn’t get really strange
    like TOM CRUISE.
