Johnny Depp dumped Vanessa for being ‘boring’

Johnny Depp split up with Vanessa Paradis because he was bored with her. The Hollywood hunk was reportedly "miserable" in his relationship with his partner of 14 years and ended things because there was no longer a spark between them. A source told RadarOnline.com: "Johnny didn't want to be with Vanessa anymore. They had grown so far apart, and he wanted to be free and try new things. He was bored senseless with her, being with Vanessa was making him miserable. The spark had gone, and there was nothing left. Johnny just wants more from life and believes Vanessa deserves to be happier too. He's not embroiled in some hot and heavy new romance and he has no plans to jump straight into something straight away, but he is keen to have some fun again." The 49-year-old actor and Vanessa, 39 - who have two kids, Lily-Rose, 13, and 10-year-old Jack, together - are thought to have been on the rocks for some time and Johnny is relieved it is finally out in the open. The source added: "Johnny has wanted this relationship to end since last year. He has tried to get out of this for a long time. Johnny was not handling keeping their split secret too well, it was difficult for him to carry on a farce, so now that it is out in the public he is feeling a lot happier about the situation."

   I think there is a huge difference between ‘miserable’ and ‘bored’. If he was miserable he was right to get out of the relationship, and it’s obvious to me that the media relabels things in the most offensive way just for shock value…

   I agree with Jane… plus now he won’t be able to look sideways at someone and it will be an affair. Poor kids in all of this.

   Missy on June 22, 2012 3:53 PM give me a break, the kids arent babies, its not like a man is expected to stay in a relationship he is unhappy in just because he is a father. no one knows what happened behind their closed doors, no one has the right to think someone should be trapped in a loveless marriage because kids are involved.

   He dumped her because he’s a cheater. End of story. And yes, once you have kids with someone, try to work it out. He loved her once, it wasn’t like he was 24 or younger when he decided to make her the mother of his kids. He was old enough to know better. Kids need a dad and a mom. He won’t be around much now that he has a new honey. You think those kids are saying at 10 and 13, “oh, we’re old enough not to need him around anymore.” No. They’re probably incredibly upset.

   Missy on June 28, 2012 2:20 PM thats pretty funny, i read the same article as you did and NO WHERE does it say that he cheated, it says he lost interest. people can fall out of love as easily as they fall in love. kids are not a reason to ruin your life by staying in an unhappy situation. do you also agree abused men/women should stay with their abuser for the sake of their kids? or is it just unhappy marriages that should be forced to stick it out? not all marriages are meant to last, clearly after the years he was with her he realized she isnt someone he wants to grow old with and die with, theres nothing wrong with that. its his choice to make, not ours.
