Johnny Depp keeps film crew warm

Johnny Depp spent $64,000 on jackets for cold crewmembers working on his new movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, an area known for its chilly weather. Johnny and his colleagues had been shivering so much lately that the 47-year-old decided to purchase some snug coats to boost team spirit and keep everyone on the set cozy. Instead of sending the bill to producers, generous Johnny was happy to pay for the waterproof hiking jackets himself. “Johnny paid out of his own pocket for all 500 of us to have a nice warm waterproof. It’s a great morale boost and another example of why he is one of the nicest people in Hollywood,” one crewmember told British newspaper The Sun.

Totally, Mandee. Along with the recent story about him visiting a kid’s school, this is just more proof that Johnny is a geniunely nice and generous person.

Talented and generous. Sadly 500 people on set got jackets…did he just tell his assistant to go get jackets for everyone and expense it somehow? It’s not like he went to the store himself and picked out multi-different sizes and colours and styles. Does everyone look the same now? Now along with not knowing everyones name, they all look the same too. Now when Johnny says “hey, you there…’ he can sincerely mean it.
Lol joking. In all honesty, that’s really great of him. I’d love to meet him in real life. Maybe he’s doing good things to make up for his hotel room smashing wild days.
