Johnny Depp launching book imprint

Johnny Depp, along with HarperCollins, will launch a book imprint called Infinitum Nihil, which means Nothing is Forever, also the name of his film production company.  HarperCollins described the imprint as “authentic, outspoken and visionary ideas and voices.” One of the new titles, “The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan,” will be penned by best-selling author Douglas Brinkley and has a tentative release date of 2015. Depp said in a release: “We will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples’ time, of peoples’ concern, publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet.” Depp and Brinkley teamed up over the summer to co-edit Woody Guthrie’s book, “House of Earth,” written in 1947 but never published. The novel is about two Texas farmers who build an adobe house to protect them from the harsh weather and along the way they face problems with the lumber company.  The novel is expected to be released in January 2013. ~ Luxy Hariharan
