Johnny Depp’s exes speak out on Amber Heard abuse claims

Johnny DeppJohnny Depp‘s former partners, Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder, are speaking up about the claims of abuse made by Amber Heard, according to court documents in his libel claim.

Depp is suing British newspaper The Sun‘s publisher, News Group Newspapers, after the tabloid published an article in 2018 accusing the star of being a “wife-beater.”

The article focused on the allegations by Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard, who filed for divorce following a domestic violence restraining order. Depp has firmly denied these allegations.

Ahead of the full court trial in July, a direction hearing was held over Skype on Wednesday, and witness statements from his former partners were asked to be included as part of the case against the publisher.

According to court documents, Vanessa’s statement reads: “We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together. Through all these years, I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father.” She added that he was “never violent or abusive.”

Winona, whom Depp was dating in the ’90s, said in her statement: “I cannot wrap my head around [Amber’s] accusations. He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me.”

A two-week trial was due to start in London on March 25, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The trial is now set to take place from July 7, 2020, taking into account social distancing measures. ~Marriska Fernandes

This is what you get when you cheat or abandon your life partner for a younger shallow chickie !

Amber is a third rate actress so she needed to get some attention. Younger, shallow chick with no talent.

You can’t turn a lesbian, I don’t think guys understand that. No matter how wonderful you are, give up that hope. It’s not gonna happen.

I’m glad to hear that his previous wife and girlfriend didn’t experience any abuse at his hands, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t abusive to Amber Heard. What makes the first two think their word is any more valid than hers? There’s always a first time for everything and it can all depend on what is going on in the alleged abuser’s life at the time or whether drugs and alcohol is involved. Apparently, he spends money faster than he can make it and maybe financial pressures were a factor, who knows. Hopefully, the truth will come out in evidence presented on both sides when it’s in court. Even now, during this forced lockdown, domestic violence has gone up by 49%, because some people can’t handle the pressure and the feeling of being forced to stay home and act civil to one another..

Joanna, from what I understand, Heard is bisexual. That means she is sexually attracted to both men and women. Not the same as a lesbian.

There is a lot of evidence that Heard was an abuser, including that she severed part of one of Depp’s fingers. And, yes, it is possible that Depp was abusing her. None of us were in that relationship, those houses, etc., to actually know for sure.

TDF doesn’t guarantee he’s not an abuser but its history of character people dont just wake up and decide to abuse it’s a trait learned and developed over time and obviously over decades hes never abused so chances are Heards character being in question now she’s the guilty party

Johnny Depp had been drinking and using drugs prolifically throughout his marriage to Heard. Its lovely for Ryder and Paradis that he never abused them, but it doesnt mean a damned thing. We saw him on that phone video; he was violent and irrational and Ive no doubt it was the tip of the iceberg.

    Really? Who cares?

Johnny is brilliant and talented and funny. I love everything he’s been in.

Amber, by her name alone, should’ve been a warning. Lol.
