Josh Hutcherson on ‘strangling’ Jennifer Lawrence

Josh HutchersonAudiences are about to see a whole new side of actor Josh Hutcherson‘s character Peeta in the highly anticipated The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, when the former lovebird turns on Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rebellion. Last night at the Los Angeles premiere, hosted at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, Josh explained to E! News what he found to be the hardest part of this film as a result of his character’s development. He said, “I had to strangle Katniss at the end of the movie that was really intense. It took a lot of choreographing and a lot of time. So that was definitely the hardest.”

The first part of the final installment is set to release on Friday and although filming for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 wrapped earlier this year, Josh isn’t ready to let go. He explained, “I’m going to miss everything. I’m going to miss the shooting so much. I’m going to miss the cast, the crew, everyone.” Although Josh was all smiles last night as the cameras flashed, it turns out he was just acting. He revealed, “I’m personally sad right now. I’m putting on a fake happy facade, but internally I’m crying.” You’re not the only one Josh! ~Janine Wyslobicky

I thought for sure he would have been thinking to himself as he strangled Jennifer Lawrence “I wonder how she would taste with a fine red wine.”.
