Mel Gibson after his court appearanceMel Gibson, 52, has completed the probation requirements stemming from his DUI arrest in July 2006. Gibson pleaded no contest and was spared jail time, instead being sentenced to three years probation and ordered to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Superior Court Judge Lawrence Mira told him Wednesday that he would no longer need to report to the court, even though he technically has 18 months left of probation, saying: “You’re well on your way to success. You’re on your own now, so this is the most difficult time for you. Good luck to you as you continue on your rehabilitation.” Gibson thanked the judge before leaving.

How much do you want to bet that Mel went home and poured himself a nice stiff drink????

Probably went home to that mini-altar he has built on his property and said 25 Hail Mary’s and 25 Our Father’s.

Then he went inside for a good shot or two.

This guy is one of the most talented in hollywood. He had the judge kissing his butt on the way out.

Nobody with bucks pays the price. Except Kiefer and he did his time because he was unemployed at the time. If anyone believes justice doesn’t have a price on it is insane!

Yeah, Kiefer did his time because he is Canadian too! And he didn’t whine and cry about it…in fact, he didn’t want ANY special treatment. He wanted to be treated like all the other inmates and not like a ‘star’. Maybe Jenny from the block needs to take lessons from Kiefer! Now, how much do you want to bet that the judge went over to Mel’s house and joined him having a drink of vodka…I mean water???

I guess everyone deserves a second chance, but
when it comes to drinking and driving which is
trouble waiting to happen, something more should have been done. (Money talks).

Maybe this Judge should be put on the stand.

    Though Mel is soooooo georgeous.

I doubt Mel will be reading this.
Anyway, I still love him, but I hate what he did. I’m hoping it never happens again, but time will tell. If it happens again, that will turn me off him forever.

Mel is sooooo gorgeous? Are you kidding me? Look at him! All those years of drinking have taken their toll. He is all wrinkled and looks older than 52.

  9. tributegirl • February 18, 2008 @ 2:57 PM

Sorry Sean, but Mel is still a good looking guy, older looking sure enough, but still nice to look at.

the wrinkles can only be half attributed to his drinking. most were probably the result of all the kids he has. they can age anyone fast.

Alcoholism and how many kids? 6? 7? Yep, that’ll age you! Maybe it’s just that unflattering photograph but he looks like crap.
