Juliette Lewis saved by Scientology

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 12, 2010 | 22 Comments

juliette_lewisJuliette Lewis claims she was saved by Scientology. The singer-and-actress – who turned to the bizarre sci-fi faith in 1996 for help during her drug addiction struggles – can’t understand why the Church of Scientology receives so much criticism and is particularly upset about the way Tom Cruise, one of the faith’s most prominent members, is ridiculed for his beliefs. She said: “It’s been written about in such an obscene way but it’s very common-sense based and involves really basic stuff like using communication to try and solve your problems or differences. It’s a progressive religion in that it’s a body of knowledge. You can be a Jewish or a Buddhist Scientologist and people don’t understand that. I feel so sad for the ridicule Tom Cruise got, and he’s such a gracious, caring human being.”

If you have to pay to be part of a religion, than it is no religion. It is more of a cult or one of the biggest scams ever pulled off and continuing to be done. Because if you think of it, it’s a religion for the rich and that is possibly the big give away right there!

    She looks possessed.

hahaha Shannon, I was thinking same…hope they believe in exorcism…

wonder why she’s divulging this now after 14 years, you’d have thought with such high praise for her faith she’d have been shouting it from the hilltops over these many past years….or at the very least jumping on a few couches…

you can do all the same things without scientology!! its called get a life, get social like normal people and realize we are not left here by aliens!

  5. mandee • April 14, 2010 @ 10:37 PM

although i disagree with this religion, i do not disagree with peoples right to choose what religion they want to be. there is no such thing as “normal people” thibiz, and last time i checked, these movie stars HAVE a life haha. a better life than many of us have. i dont care who chooses what faith, that is their business, i just dont like the things they do because of this religion.

“…and involves really basic stuff like using communication to try and solve your problems or differences.”

Oh, is that what those scientologists are doing in the video in Florida that we can look up online? Solving their problems or differences with communication. Well, I guess pushing people to the ground and hitting them IS communication.

I have a life lol!! Im a musician, Have a good job, i get to travel around the world, I have a great relationship, house and family. Ooopss ive said to much. And yes there actually is normal people in this world and then there is the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY which is NOT a RELIGION!! Scientology is an extemist organization that brainwashes its CLIENTS into believing that we came from ALIENS. Bottom line is this, anyone can make up a story and create a following of people to worship this story which gives a meaning/purpose to their life. With the right “spokes people” behind the “cult” the more followers they may gain using their celebrity status as a ploy to intrest new recruits into forking out and wasting their money. The red flag is waving strong on this one!

Just look at her eyes 😛 shes brainwashed!!!

  9. demigod • April 15, 2010 @ 3:12 AM

Thibz, I think Scientology has some merit. The important aspect being spirituality. And yes,I do believe we’ve been influenced by alien intervention since our evolution. It’s in our recorded history but it’s all been misinterpreted/mistranslated or covered up. We continue to be visited and manipulated to this day.

Thibz, not sure if it’s true or not, but I’ve been told that the person that created the “religion” (aka cult) of Scientology was very charasmatic, and did it on a bet. Apparently he & a friend were having a discussion & he said “I bet I can start a whole new religion” and it snowballed from there.
Demigod, I agree, but doesn’t Scientology claim that we actually came from aliens? Or that aliens have taken over all our bodies, or some such crap like that?

  11. demigod • April 15, 2010 @ 11:45 PM

I’m not too versed with Scientology, but I do believe we’ve been bio-genetically engineered by aliens. It explains the different races. I used to believe the theory of evolution..not so much anymore-too many great leaps.

Thibz on April 15, 2010 1:47 AM some people could argue that coming from god or whatnot is the same basic thing – brainwashing. no one can prove that the bible is real, its a story someone wrote and look how many followers that story has. im not against any religion, im not even a specific religion, i know i believe in god, thats all that counts. im just saying, if they choose to believe in aliens instead of god, thats their choice and people shouldnt really criticize them over it. im not saying i havent done the very same thing, because i have. ive called them dumb and everything, but i feel we should be more tolerant of other peoples choices as long as the choices they make arent physically or emotionally hurting anyone. and im glad you have such a privileged life, anytime you wanna share some of your money, lemme know 😀

demigod on April 15, 2010 3:12 AM i enjoy reading your comments a lot.

tributegirl on April 15, 2010 8:18 AM a lot of people can say that any religion started the same was as scientology. in my opinion, because there are so many differing religions there probably isnt one that has anything to actually do with god and his will for others. its all just what group you decide to put yourself in, like i said, i believe in god, but i dont think i should have to belong in a group and follow a specific set of rules, what i can and can not eat, drink, buy, sell, who i can and can not like, associate with etc.

demigod, i havent actually considered where we have come from, i dont have a theory i believe. i basically have decided since we have been on earth as long as we have, it doesnt matter where we came from all that matters is that we are here.

aliens arent necessarily a bad thing, all they are are people or beings we are unfamiliar with, so arent we all aliens in some way to other people?

Mandee, if you’re interested do a search on ‘Ancient Astronauts’..it’s a fascinating read. There’s evidence from all over the world, from diff periods in history, that we are descendants of aliens. All the ‘gods’ written about in every religion/culture were actually aliens. There are actually many dozens of species, some benevolent, some malevolent.

  14. mandee • April 17, 2010 @ 2:50 PM

thanks, i will read that. im interested in hearing other peoples opinions and thoughts on why and how we were brought here, if anyone else is willing to share?

  15. mandee • April 17, 2010 @ 2:51 PM

i found a few sites demigod, i was just wondering if you have a specific one you prefer that is perhaps maybe clearer than another site?

  16. demigod • April 18, 2010 @ 2:12 AM

You can also do searches on youtube: Anunnaki, Nibiru, Atlantis, Sumerians, Nephilim..

Seems like the two most prevalent theories are that we’re genetically engineered by the Anunnaki and the Atlantians. We’re a mix of their genes, and the genes of various early hominids (homo erectus,cro-magnon, neanderthals etc..)

  17. mandee • April 20, 2010 @ 2:17 AM

i love atlantis, i dont know much about it but i love the idea. i love anything that has mystery behind it. i want to one day be the one to capture proof of the lochness monster. i KNOW there HAS to be something in the lakes or oceans, we find new species all the time that were just hidden because they stay deep below the surface of the water, where submarines and equipment cannot go. if alligators and crocodiles and birds and turtles and stuff can live through the dinosaur age, im CERTAIN there are other things that can live within the depths of the water from that time simply just being over looked or being within underwater caves or something when people are searching….i wonder if i just made myself come off crazy to all of you? lol.

  18. tributegirl • April 20, 2010 @ 6:46 PM

oh, just a little bit, mandee, but that’s ok!
    lolololol!!!!! just kidding!

    gee, THANKS tg 😛 lol

thanks demigod, i just thought you were ignoring the question lol. from what i read on a different page of this, it seems pretty interesting and it does offer a reason for basically everything, which i love. 😀

  21. demigod • April 21, 2010 @ 2:52 PM

yw..I find it all fascinating and explains alot. Like that isn’t enough, I suggest reading up on the FACTS of the Great Pyramids at Giza. Don’t listen to the mainstream archaeologists/egyptologists like that joke Zahi Hawass.

  22. mandee • April 21, 2010 @ 9:39 PM

when i look up things, its usually just the mysteries of the world. i find things like this very fascinating as well.
