Justin Bieber arrested in Miami

By Marriska Fernandes on January 23, 2014 | 35 Comments

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, 19, has been arrested in Miami Beach for DUI, resisting arrest, drag racing and driving with an expired license. Miami Beach police confirmed the news early Thursday morning and by 9:00 a.m. this morning, Justin was still in a cell. A police spokeswoman said, “I can confirm that Justin Bieber was arrested for DUI and drag racing in the city of Miami Beach.” Justin’s friends created a drag strip for Justin by using their rented cars to block traffic on Pine Tree Drive at 26th Street. According to reports, Justin, who was driving a yellow Lamborghini, and the other driver, a rapper friend who was driving a rented red Ferrari, were both arrested. Justin had just left SET nightclub, where he was apparently served alcohol despite being underage. He failed the sobriety test at the scene and swore at the cops, saying, “What the f**k did I do?  Why did you stop me?” according to TMZ. He also had a passenger in his car – a model named Chantel Jeffries, who’s known for dating celebrities. Justin was taken to the police station for further alcohol testing and is currently waiting for bail to be set. In Florida, the legal drinking age is 21 and the penalty for a first-time DUI conviction is up to six months in jail. We will update the story as it develops. ~Marriska Fernandes

Put him in the slammer for 6 months slough I doubt he will learn his lesson.

    A real
    Punk wannabe.

  2. Jim • January 23, 2014 @ 11:09 AM

He should be put in jail for the full six months unfortunately with his celebrity status he probably won’t even get a slap on the wrist, too bad the child is out-of-control

HOW can someone go this bad, this quick? This boy will end up dead if he does not remove himself from the company he is keeping. He is being led by the nose by this rapper guy and has surrounded himself with guys who can only put him on the wrong path. WHERE is his mother, grandparents..the people who kept him grounded. He is behaving like a total idiot. I hope someone really ‘cleans his clock’ while he is in prison. He is hurtling toward disaster and no one is stopping him.

Pittyful…and this is the example shown by a Queens Jubillie medal winner. How many police, fire, ambulance, teachers, military vets and serving members along side of citizens in Canada who have been awarded for this medal now wish to be distanced from this piece of crap.

lock him up for a year not 6 months!!!! Maybe the Bieb will be a boy toy.

  5. Richy • January 23, 2014 @ 12:13 PM

Justin Bieber and Rob Ford make for good drinking buddies and great headline grabbers.

  6. MikeKunyz • January 23, 2014 @ 12:19 PM

He should be locked up somewhere – he is obviously out of control…And seize the Lmaborghini
The kid has too much money and no clean role models to advise him.
He should not be allowed to paly God with innocent peoples’ lives, and the dirtbags he hangs out with should also be locked up.

He is in need of a serious intervention- Where are his skanky parents? Just along for the $$ride?

  7. glendac • January 23, 2014 @ 12:19 PM

Send his ass to jail and see how the pretty boy makes out with the big boys in jail with his pants around his ankles! Spoiled brat!

  8. Jacques • January 23, 2014 @ 12:35 PM

Throw the book at him and send him in jail for 6 months. That might give him the shaking he needs.

  9. Colin Fox • January 23, 2014 @ 12:41 PM

Everyone says send him to jail.

No sympathy here at all and none is deserved.

  10. Patrick • January 23, 2014 @ 12:57 PM

Once he’s done doing jail time ( if any ) bar him from the US for 10 years.

  11. pelorojo13 • January 23, 2014 @ 12:58 PM

This is so disturbing – this happened when I lived in Singapore – some rich people in their high performance cars were racing and it turned out badly – at least 4 innocent bystanders were killed, along with the drivers…he is lucky he didn’t kill anyone with his reckless attitude. Makes me sad to think a “good Canadian boy” has gone wrong so quickly and has fed into the spoiled celebrity lifestyle he thinks he deserves.

You can take the trash out of the trailer but not the trailer out of the trash.

This boy is throwing away the chance of a lifetime because he has parents and adults in his familey who are too ignorant to give him proper guidance.

Before long he will be back in Stratford collecting welfare and it will be well deserved.

They are obviously more interested in Fame and money than his welfare. Enjoy it while you can..the gravy train is de-railing right now.

What happened to his perfect young man image? He needs to be reminded he is a role model. His celebrity status draws attention to his bad boy antics. If he was a nobody he would not have access to all the toys he is abusing. All his money and the special attention he gets is going to his head. People will lie to him and take advantage of him just to rub shoulders with a celebrity. These are not your true friends. They are good time friends and should your wealth and celebrity status disappear so would they!
He needs to turn around his act and start showing the world his better side which now we only get an occasional glimpse of. He has a good heart and we have witnessed this through his wonderful charitable acts. He needs to focus on this side of his personality before his hole he has dug for himself becomes too deep to get out of.
I am sure his mother must be at a loss regarding what to do with him. Obviuously she is afraid to say anything. A normal 19 year old boy would not be exposed to what he is being exposed to and Justin has shown he is not handling his celebrity status well. Where are his professional advisors? The income will cease should this continue. People will shun him, not wanting him representing their products. Grow up Justin.

While “The Beeb” deserves every minute behind bars, an untold side to this is the question of what happened to the ‘griends’ who created this drag strip on the road by blocking traffic? They should also have been arrested and their cars impounded.

“You are known by the company you keep”, and I guess that Bieber wants to become a ‘gangsta’ wannabe thug. Florida, you can keep him!

  15. Wendy • January 23, 2014 @ 2:29 PM

He’s just a stupid punk ass kid with no brains.

No one likes him because he does stupid things to impress
others and in the process makes himself look retarded.

    No role model is here.

  16. Flaris • January 23, 2014 @ 2:48 PM

Well with all the trouble he’s been causing everywhere he goes it’s about time someone threw him in jail for something.

Guy is just another case of a celebrity going downhill in a hurry. Going to be sad in a few years to look back at how quickly he threw it all away.

  17. Dave • January 23, 2014 @ 4:03 PM

The truth has finally surfaced – Justin Bieber – just another Rob Ford wannabe.

  18. fred • January 23, 2014 @ 4:32 PM

The beeb’s a bad little bugger, to much money, no proper guidance, parents seem like idiots, no brains, drugs, booze, fast cars and spending $75000 at a nudie bar the little screw ball has a real problem moving towards shortening his life, He and ROB Ford are the new nominee’s for outstanding Canadian IDIOTS. lol

  19. Alabaster • January 23, 2014 @ 4:51 PM

Put him in jail. No special priviliges for being a “celebrity”. Teach the little snot that there are consequences for his actions. If they give him any lee way he’s not going to learn a thing.

  20. kathy • January 23, 2014 @ 4:52 PM

This “kid” is so immature that he just won’t ever get it…he’ll be dead in no time…very foolish of his parents to instill trust in him of any kind.

  21. Dalyce • January 23, 2014 @ 5:13 PM

Finally a police department that doesn’t give a damn if you’re a “so-called celebrity”. Canadians cringe every time this immature punk pulls off another half-witted stunt. I “Believe” his 15 minutes are finally winding down.

  22. Snepts • January 23, 2014 @ 5:34 PM

He’s still the King of Pop.

  23. PJ • January 23, 2014 @ 6:51 PM

And this is a surprise? NOT…word of advice Bieb…when you shower in jail, and drop the soap, don’t pick it up dude…just when you think you can no longer attain those high soprano notes, the big bad boys in lockup will definately prove otherwise…just a thought…enjoy!!!

  24. Ceciel • January 23, 2014 @ 7:50 PM

I agree, Throw him in Jail and not for only a few months.. I think these kids who think they are not supposed to follow the laws should get what ever an everyday Joe would get. And the bail is set way to low, He should be made to clean the highways or the parks, make him do labor, not sit in jail , most likely in there he will get special treatment, Don’t treat him like a celebrity..

  25. gbh999 • January 23, 2014 @ 8:14 PM

How is this little puke getting away with, being served in drinking establishments, underage?
Seems to me, that the authorities, need to start pulling the licences of the clubs, who cater to underage clientele
And while they are at it, it is high time, that this pouffy, skinny bitch, be sent to federal prison for a stretch.
    Lessons are free there!

  26. carol • January 23, 2014 @ 9:11 PM

Sad what his parents go through with out him if he died look what happened paul walker .He neds help before he kills someone or himself sad at 19.

  27. Snepts • January 23, 2014 @ 11:27 PM

He wants to be seen as living the thuggish lifestyle, and that means doing time to earn his cred.

  28. steve c • January 23, 2014 @ 11:44 PM

he was a simple kid found on youtube i believe, and seemed like a decent young man. then he hung out with rappers, and all of a sudden his pants are down his ass, he’s making an attempt at some “street cred” by juvenile shit like racing a lambo like some rich kid douchebag. too much money, too fast, and no teen is capeable of that influx of money into their system of being “normal” anymore. a promising start, railroaded off the tracks, and eventually but a footnote of another rich douchebag with more money than sense, probably dead at a young age. belieb it.

  29. Bob • January 24, 2014 @ 12:15 AM

We all know that he’ll get off. Look at Lindsay Lohan and all the other Hollywood spoiled brats. They all got off easily. Probably why he looks so happy in his mug shot.

  30. Linda • January 24, 2014 @ 2:02 AM

It’s really toss up to decide just WHO exactly should have the title of being Canada’s biggest BUFFOON Award: Bieber or Rob Ford. Both of them are a seriously embarrassing blight to Canada, and by all of the negative comments here about Bieber, everyone feels the same way. Lock up this arrogant, self-entitled BRAT and throw away the key!!!! He would be no match against criminals doing hard time for murder and the like, and clearly the countless court appearances and slaps on the wrist have done absolutely nothing for Lindsay Lohan, America’s Biggest Bonehead Celebrity Loser, who also has two idiots for parents who have proved to be an epic fail. WHEN is the justice system finally going to make a hard example of these celebrities and make them truly accountable for crimes that nobody else would get away with??!!

  31. harold taylor • January 24, 2014 @ 3:45 AM

i’m feeling sorry for this young guy. he is only 19 and i know his mum. she and his dad is to pull the strings on him but it’s too late he is 19 and on his own now. he will do whatever he wants BUT he will have to pay the price. all you girls and boys out their can/will idolise him all you like but in the end he will overdose himselve and that will be he end and then you can follow someone else. you must get a life and stop idolising someone who is out of control. please. sorry if i miss spelt things

  32. Snepts • January 24, 2014 @ 4:15 AM

In a world of scandal-driven celebrity, this is a great career move.

  33. Tracy • January 24, 2014 @ 6:28 AM

    Snepts on January 23, 2014 5:34 PM
He’s still the King of Pop.

    You missed an O.

  34. Snepts • January 24, 2014 @ 10:53 AM

Tracy is jealous of Bieber’s millions…

  35. LeongCox • January 30, 2014 @ 10:52 AM

All the jealous haters out there…..He is in trouble folks. Grow up- and think about it- he goes from living in his mo’s car, to super celebrity- with the hangers on who are out to not only bleed him for money and good times, but who also want to destroy him too cause they can’t be white and cute.

He needs his grandparents…his parents are selfish immature sociopaths who are also bleeding him dry..Where are HIS role models.
