Justin Bieber assault charges dropped

The assault case against Justin Bieber, 16, has been dropped by the RCMP.  Bieber was alleged to have hit a 12-year-old boy last October at a laser tag facility in Richmond, British Columbia, but witnesses at the gaming facility, Planet Lazer, told police the younger boy was the one at fault. Beiber was in B.C. to play a concert at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The day after the concert, he went with his father to Planet Lazer. Witnesses said the younger boy called the singer a homophobic slur twice and then reached out with his hand towards Justin, who pushed the kid’s hand away and left. The father of the 12-year-old told police his son was assaulted at the facility and insisted on filing charges, but Richmond RCMP have confirmed that “no charges will be forwarded as the evidence collected does not support doing so.” To enter our contest to meet Justin Bieber in London, England, click here.

Good for the RCMP, I think the father just saw dollar signs in his eyes, thinking he could sue Justin for touching his kid, when it was his kid who started it.

Indeed. Both father and son were jerks. Something’d be terribly wrong with our legal system if this got him a record.

No cash grab for the dad, he should try in the States where it’s easier to get cash out of celebrities, just look at what happened to Michael Jackson.

I said it before and I will say it this time, I am not a Bieber fan, but I’m glad justice prevailed and it does go to show we aren’t like the states! Way to go Canada and the police did their job…mind you, it’s for a celebrity, but at least the evil-doers didn’t win.

Who cares? Justin Dweeber is just plain rude to his fans on the best of days anyway. Bad publicity will put an end to his (to be) short lived fame and especially since he’s nothing to look at anyway. And that hair……yuk…..old as the Beatles.

We all should care. If this got him in jail it’d make a ridiculous legal precedent in which people can’t push someone’s hand away after being verbally assaulted. It doesn’t matter what you think of him but the law affects all of us. Use your brain.

I think the 12 year old finally came to his senses and would want the whole world to know his name and that he got beaten by Bieber. That would be gayer than gay. So he had the RCMP drop the charges. Good move pansy.
