Justin Bieber investigated for assault

Justin Bieber reportedly hit a 12-year-old boy while playing a game of laser tag. Although the kid suffered no visible injuries and didn’t need medical help, the RCMP are interviewing witnesses. It’s believed the father of a 12-year-old boy complained to the authorities. Sources told TMZ the incident occurred at Planet Lazer, in Richmond, B.C. Apparently Justin was playing the game when he was picked on by a fellow player, who apparently called the singer “a faggot” twice and then put his hand out towards Justin. According to witnesses at the arcade, Justin pushed the kid’s hand away and left. Staff claimed Justin was being targeted by several youngsters “and accidentally hit the kid.” The incident has prompted Justin to take a stand against bullying and homophobia and he will be going public to lend his support to the anti-bullying campaign.

He should’ve decked the kid. And that father should teach his kid not to be a jerk, instead of whining to the authorities that his little baby (who has a vile mouth and was probably about to grab Justin before Justin smacked his hand away) was hurt. Or instead of decking the kid, Justin could’ve waited, let him grab him and then charge the little bastard with assault and hate speech.

ohh, so its ok for young kids to learn that hitting others is ok if they call you a name, but its not ok for them to use this same method when they grow up? youre being a hypocrite here.

i disagree with people that are against someones sexual preference. i also disagree with violence in any situation other than self defense. im glad that justin left instead of getting violent. good for him.

Can we please leave this little girl alone?

Um no, a hypocrite would be someone who says “Don’t hit other people if they call you a name,” and then does it themselves. I would’ve decked the kid too. Sounds like he needs a good smack in the head.

Sounds like a pretty unfortunate incident, but as the article says, it prompted Justin to “take a stand against bullying and homophobia and he will be going public to lend his support to the anti-bullying campaign.” Good for you, Justin – turn it into something positive.

I think it is all driven by the father here. The article stated that the father was the one who reported it to authorities. Justin showed an incredible amount of self-control by not punching this 12 yr old. A degree of maturity and self-control which many adults haven’t or won’t ever reach. Since the father of this youngster decided to move forward with the assault investigation I think Justin should now report this kid for harassment. If not for fun at least the kids parents will think twice before trying to capitalize on their sons poor behavior again.

    GO JUSTIN!!!!!!!!

Picked on by a 12 year old? Seriously? When I was in 10th grade (16), if a 6th grader (12) called me a fag I would have laughed at him. To say he should be commended for not “decking” the kid is totally ridiculous.

I’m sorry are you kidding?!?!? This is the same jack@$$ that insulted a tv host and called HIM a faggot and thought he was gay for touching him. Now he’s doing a 360 when someone else calls him what he calls others? Maybe someone from the gay community needs to speak out to Justin and let this little ass know that he has no right defending the gays when he thinks and speak of them in the same manner. Now that folks, is a damn hypocrite, and surprisingly, it’s not any of the posters but of whom the article is about, go figure.

Jodie on October 18, 2010 2:53 PM a hypocrite is also someone that feels that hitting a guy for calling you a dirty name is the thing to do, but hitting a girl for calling you a name makes you a terrible person. either way, raising children to think violence is ok is the reason the world is going to he*ll and no one is safe from terror*ists or rapists or murderers anymore.

mandee, invest in a dictionary. A hypocrite is someone who says one thing and does another. Simple as that.

Sometimes words just don’t cut it, you got to hit someone to shut them up. I hope he gets charged, it will give his movie an actual good story line

  16. mandee • October 20, 2010 @ 9:10 AM

    jodie, invest in some manners.

  17. L1feless • October 20, 2010 @ 2:42 PM

Correct me if I am mistaken here but Justin never hit anyone. He pushed, slapped or something between this kids hand out of his face and the proceeded to walk away. Unless I have missed some ‘evidence’ I’d hardly see that action as assault.

This is awesome!! Who cares. At least Justin Bieber is now going to fight for causes close to his heart, like bullying since I’m sure he gets picked on a lot (see some comments from above) and homophobia (since in all likelyhood he/she is gay) lol. Sorry for everyone out there who is a Bieber fan…he’s a kid! He’s a passing fad. This will all go away soon.

And really, there are 2 sides and the truth. If there was no actual fist punching by Bieber to a kid who was egging him on, then good job Bieber and walking away. I think he has ever right to push pointing fingers out of the way so he could get on with his life.

JB U ROCK and kid and dad screw urself
