Justin Bieber punches fan in face, causes him to bleed – video

Footage of Justin Bieber punching a fan before a gig in Barcelona has surfaced and stirred up a storm of controversy.

Preceding his Tuesday, Nov. 22 concert in Spain, the 22-year-old “Sorry” singer was being driven to the venue when a male fan approached the moving vehicle. Justin was seated in the back of the car with his window rolled down as the enthused fan broke through a crowd and boldly reached into the vehicle to touch the popstar.

Justin responded instinctively and threw a punch at the fan, who then retreated and turned to the camera catching the action to reveal a bloodied mouth. It’s difficult to decide whether the fan appears honored, excited or enraged about the encounter.

The video of the incident was posted on TMZ. You can watch it below.

The Canadian Grammy winner was in Barcelona for a concert as part of the European leg of his Purpose world tour.

It was only last month when Justin’s treatment of his fans came into question. During a show in England, he asked his “obnoxious” fans to “take a chill pill” and save their cheers for the end of his songs.

Justin’s hurried act of violence in Spain comes after he made headlines earlier this week for proudly displaying his latest tattoo.

While performing, he raised his shirt to reveal the words “Son of God” inscribed across his washboard abs. A quick-to-act concertgoer snapped a photo and shared it on Twitter.

Below, check out the video of Justin jabbing his fan in the face as well as his most recent form of body art.

What do you think of Justin’s behavior in Barcelona? Is it too late to say sorry? Was he just defending himself against a potential threat, or unjustifiably lashing out? Share your thoughts with us. ~Matthew Pariselli
