Kanye West investigated for alleged assault

Rapper Kanye West is being investigated for assault after an altercation happened yesterday afternoon involving an unidentified 18-year-old male outside a medical building. The incident happened when the teen was shouting racial slurs at the paparazzi. Kanye’s fiancée, Kim Kardashian, told him that “wasn’t cool,” so he started directing racial slurs at her, including “n****r lover.” Kanye, who was nearby, ran over to defend her. A source told E!: “The guy continued with the slurs. He was in Kanye’s face and wouldn’t stop. He was taunting him. Police were called to the scene.” Kanye allegedly punched the teen in the face, although sources have been quoted as saying Kanye “barely hit” him. Police were called and when they arrived the victim, who was later seen leaving with a sweatshirt wrapped around his head, said he wanted to press charges. According to Kim, she felt threatened and says Kanye was only stepping in to defend her. She is reportedly filing a police report after the man allegedly shouted, “I will kill you” at her. Kanye is also facing assault charges after assaulting a photographer at LAX this past July. ~Brie Davis
